But I do spend time with my friends! {WoW}

May 9th 2007 12:35PM I know what you mean, I too work in a IT environment... With a sort of Corporate MSN and Conference calls, I surprise myself sometime pressing my Ventrilo keys at job to speak back :)

Last time my boss was coming over, but he resisted my freezing trap and my concusive, So I could not evade the encounter... XD

Reader WoWspace: Skyghene {WoW}

May 9th 2007 12:28PM Hey Skyghene, I'm Bodingtons (hunter you sapped in southshore), you tried to prevent us from doing a summon, and backstabbed the lock named Calypso yesterday ! hehe :P I thought the name was ringing a bell :)

May 9th 2007 8:46AM IMO the best thing would be that to be able to use the Mail / Whisper, you need to completed at least one quest, to have at least 1 point of reputation with any beginning faction.

May 8th 2007 3:43PM @20 Because it would take like 20 000 new employee ( a couples new buildings) for only this ? hehe if 8 millions WoWers receive each one lets say 2-3 spam by hour, and we cut that in four because its never 100% of registered users who are connected, it still gives 2 million x 3, 6 millions spam by hour... Lol its very roughly calculated but still...

I Entirely agree, but it seems all that reporting isn't going nowhere. Best you can do is to put Whisper in another Chat box, and only display group/raid/bg/chat...

May 8th 2007 2:50PM Personally I never reported Gold spamming, and dunno why we should report it : Its like calling your Internet service provider and the cops everytime you get spam mail in your inbox... Its just not logical, they dont have the manpower to track them all... Those ticket just make the real important ticket take longer to check for the GM.

Last time I asked a GM, they responded within 15 minutes, So maybe the long wait time someone mentionned is surely because they just want your to abandon it, of course they will never say it.

Reporting is for serious stuff IMO, and some whisper from a chinese gold seller isnt too rough on my nerves... Sure its gotten worse, but Its like internet spam, after all, WoW is on the Internet... You cant control the Internet, its just too much of a "Jungle"... :)

May 8th 2007 2:28PM Little of topic, but illegal stuff anyways :

Since yesterday, I saw 3 hunters in Tanaris (each at a random placE) which were controlled by an A.I. They farmed endlessly, and they were geared with Leather level 15, at level 44... I contacted a GM to report third party software "à la WoWglider". Its weird that 2 hours later, the robot was still there... Im beginning to wonder if these are Blizzard own stuff hehe... Cause I thought they took Automated farming more seriously than that. I'm gonna check tonight. If you want to see the robot profile on armory, its MATHNA on Maghteridon realm.

Dealing with younger players, both good and bad {WoW}

May 8th 2007 1:24PM When I face such situation, I tell myself : we were all kid at some point lol... Their weak point is the RPG/Lore/Ethic stuff.

Maybe we are jealous sometimes, because they didnt begins on 8-Bit NES hehe and they begin their gamers experience with WoW.

May 8th 2007 1:05PM We recently recruited a young fellow in our guild... lol he's a typical noob warrior (Needing on stuff he dont need, and ranting about his "Pwnage"... But we're working on teaching him the basics.

At first he was asking instances runs but when he saw we are rarely interested... He didnt ask anymore.

It's still funny to have him around, he's our guild "joker" lol, always having weird ideas and explaining us his plans... :) Like saying he was going engineer, scraping his blacksmith to do so, then 2 days later, he went back Blacksmith...

Last time, he asked if it was possible to change hair style, etc ; some previous article was ranting about this on WoW insider... hehe I told him yes there was a Barbershop with a costly price to pay, in the Canals of Stormwind XD

LOL Poor young fella, he was running in the canals, for about 20 minutes, asking directions... We kept saying in the canals, all the way near dwarf district. :P

We we're bad, but still we laughed together in the end.
