Breakfast Topic: Feats of Strength {WoW}

Nov 3rd 2009 11:35AM i have a few. got the dreadsteed one, vintage 07 brewfest stein. clockwork rocket bot. but i really like the private one and title to go with it. sure i only made it to private but it seems most people dont even have that one.

Breakfast Topic: What tutorial would you add? {WoW}

Oct 27th 2009 12:54PM i think warlocks need their own tutorial. with a warlock as my main i can identify that they can be a relatively involved class to play.

while playing the game ive never been happy that i grouped with a warlock outside of raids. they all pretty much dont know how to play effectively. not using dots, using searing pain as their main nuke in pve, etc. also i hate people with "lock" in their name.

same deal with hunters. theres a reason the name huntard exists.

if CC still existed in the game id suggest having a tutorial about that and other group dynamics, but the game is pretty much tank and spank and aoe. my friends and are currently leveling through bc on mid 60s alts and were already clearing out mech, vaults, bm, and sh with no problems. somewhere the game got too easy.

i was able to pick up tanking and healing relatively easy playing the other classes though i guess a tutorial would help. i think healing is kind of straightforward but tanking could be a little more difficult.

clearer tooltips on item coefficients would help too. a lot of warriors or dks or pallies ive met dont know 1str = 2ap and other benefits.

the number given to spell power is completely arbitrary in finding out how much it will effect your spells. it would be nice if a spells tooltip updated with your increased atp/sp with how much damage it will do.

Forum post of the day: Great idea, poor implementation {WoW}

Feb 13th 2009 4:36PM it seems you put way too much on spec. maybe your skills are lacking?

you cant dps as affliction? seriously?
