Mar 28th 2008 2:34PM Gotta agree with the last few posters, what's the point of this article? Basically it sounds like both GH and Rock Band are doing great and making a lot of money. So what if GH is making more? As long as both are profitable the gamers benefit by getting more options for finding their ideal music gaming experience. Competition is good, I'm happy if I can go out there and find lots of different music games to try regardless of which one is the "winner".
Mar 17th 2008 10:14PM Aren't you supposed to put spoilers AFTER the break? Some of us are waiting for the DVDs and my eyes scan by and see that a major character dies? Come on now, a little compassion for those who aren't up to date!

Mar 10th 2008 6:56PM I have to agree with the commenters who say PvP is different. Depending on your class, some specs aren't viable at all. Tracey, I have a 70 fire mage as well and she doesn't PvP at all. For that I'd have to respec her frost. But I PvP all the time with my enhancement shammy and while I still use the same few abilities, target selection, movement and totem droppage are totally different in PvP.
And for a priest in an instance, psychic scream is a total no-no. In PvP it's fantastic. It's a hugely different game. Come on, that's why they're making an entire new arena-only realm.
Mar 7th 2008 8:23PM I'm not sure what kind of love affair you guys are having with Lipstick Jungle but it's straining my belief. "The former Brat Packer could be the find of the TV season; the new McDreamy. " Are you kidding me? I used to love Andrew McCarthy once upon a time but he's past his dreamy days. His character is empty and antagonistic. His character's whole relationship with Victory makes little sense to me, since they don't seem to have anything in common or really like each other all that much. This kind of filler post makes me yawn. I'm pleased to see him on tv again but this post didn't provide any sort of information of note.
Feb 21st 2008 12:40AM He wasn't saying that story is not important. He was saying that how you tell the story should take into account what your medium is good at (I was at the talk). Games are good at interaction, the story should emerge from the gameplay. Games aren't movies, the story doesn't need to be pushed at your through cutscenes and it doesn't need to be pushed at you through pages of text.
I wrote up a post with a bit more detail on my site:
Feb 15th 2008 1:13PM I think the show is pretty terrible, I'm only watching it to bide my time until everything else returns. How can everything go wrong with these women? You can be successful at work and at home, but this show is all about stirring up trouble. Who else is waiting for Kirby to take those photos and blackmail her? I spend all my time waiting for the other shoe to drop and something else to go horribly wrong for these women.
Feb 14th 2008 4:37PM They don't count. The content on the test realms is subject to change. If they beat someone too easily, Blizzard will tune the fight more difficult. Until it goes live, the bosses they're bringing down could be very different from the ones we'll be seeing.
