Apr 29th 2008 5:35AM He's holding back on getting the game so that he can perform for his classes.

The wait for the game is burning a hole in his brain, reducing his academic performance.

The expected outcome of holding off on buying the game is increased academic performance, but in reality it is worsening it just as much as buying the game would, an unexpected effect.

Irony.

Apr 27th 2008 6:29PM I hate raiding guilds so much.

The epic raid AFK {WoW}

Apr 26th 2008 6:47PM Probably when I told my MC raid I had to go afk to help my stepdad (who had a broken leg at that time) get out of his car and into the house, and got an earful of whining and moaning that I was holding everyone up. Considering I already told them I was going to have to afk at one point to do this, this pissed me off a great deal. This coupled with the fact that people started arguing if I'd already afk'd once that raid or not, like I was only allowed one bathroom break or something.

I /gquit and hearthed, and have not raided since.

In before someone calls me a liar who's trying to make raiding look bad.

Mar 31st 2008 4:08PM Half the reason people grind for new gear is because it looks cool. If you could specify "cosmetic" gear, everyone would just wear whatever they had a full set of. You'd have a hundred people fighting for who started wearing the Defias Leather first.

And damn if I wouldn't be one of them. I think it's a great idea, but Blizzard would never do it, because then you could look cool without having to uber-grind or wear gimp gear.

Mar 30th 2008 5:20PM In this comment thread, truth.

It's like having two vegetarians have a talk about if it's better to cook steak rare or well done. Sure you can guess, but unless you actually eat steak, you're just talking out of your ass.

Unless there's a gay person involved, then any talk about homosexuality is just bullshit. You don't actually know.
