Oct 26th 2009 11:25PM No, Apple does not need to take over after M$ backed down. MacFarlane is not funny anymore and any respectable company would be smart to stay away from him as more and more people are figuring that out as the days go on. The fact that 3 of the 4 shows on Sunday nights belong to that man is ridiculous. Family Guy isn't what it once was and has run its course. I think the last time I laughed at an episode was the Star Wars episodes and I refuse to even try The Cleveland Show.
Oct 26th 2009 1:31AM It was a good episode but I'm not sure how much not having Izzie and Meredith in it contributed. I don't think that Meredith has been as bad this season as she has been in the past but I would be perfectly content not ever seeing Izzie again. To me Heigl is the weakest actress on the show and Izzie hasn't been a likable character for a while now.
Oct 16th 2009 5:39PM I'll be watching this more for the fact that it has Jim Gaffigan than anything. Sometimes too much of the show is taken from reality but sometimes they just toss in little bits which isn't near as bad. I knew in the SVU episode on Tuesday the second that the lady who got killed was an abortion doctor they were going to bring up Dr. Tiller's death in Kansas earlier this year. I was probably just expecting it because I live in that town and the topic is still in the news all the time but it was still nice to not have the episode be more or less a re-enactment of that.
Oct 13th 2009 4:21PM I think mediocre is being polite at this point.
Oct 9th 2009 12:09AM I actually teared up a little bit. I liked this episode a lot.
Oct 9th 2009 12:08AM That sucks. I agree with Ryan that it wouldn't have pissed me off as much if it hadn't been renewed already. It's also a good reason why you shouldn't end your first season on a cliffhanger. You can have it be a little bit of a cliffhanger while at the same time giving closure should the series not return.
Sep 24th 2009 2:58AM I must be in the minority because I could not stand this episode. From the start by just having the single ladies song and watching Kurt dance I was lost. I watched most of it but I also spent a good chunk of time watching Law and Order. Trying out as the kicker for the football team is one thing, asking to dance before the kick is another. Between that and the football team dancing it just felt like something I would see in a Disney movie. I like that Kurt has come out but do we need every episode to concentrate on that? Add in the whole baby swap plan and I just don't really know what to expect from the show anymore. It feels like the glee club is more of a side story to the members personal lives than the members personal lives being a side story of the glee club. I'll still watch since I've liked every other episode but this one fell completely flat for me, and I am so tired of hearing that damn Single Ladies song.
Aug 21st 2009 2:37AM Should have evicted Natalie. Like you said Lydia is the weak one, they could get rid of her at any time and her strength weakens more every day. Maybe this week they will get rid of Natalie because I still consider her a little more threat than Russel because he knows if it comes down to him and Kevin in the final 2 that Kevin will likely get the majority of the votes. At least that's the way I see it. But really the only ones who can trust anyone are Jeff and Jordan and I'm really rooting for Jordan.
Aug 19th 2009 3:48AM Those girls are all so childish. Getting mad because the others are playing the game and now they have to worry then dumping their beer and throwing away their food, that was just childish. Lydia went from being the voice of reason one minute to a Chima reincarnate the next. The only person to blame is Chima for her actions not Michelle like Nastalie was doing, and Lydia has no reason to be mad at any of them. They never did anything to her aside from get her off the block. I loved Jeff and Jordan in this episode though, those two are so cute. Jordan is such a sweet girl sharing a room with her mom I really hope she wins now I think she could actually use it the most of everyone in the game. My favorite lines of the night were all from Jeff. Calling Lydia Mrs. Roper and then telling her she's not going home lol Jeff is definitely my favorite but Jordan is a very close second. I also liked how Nastalie was trying to play it off that Chima dropped her mic by accident. Did she really think none of the producers were gonna catch that with all the cameras? And if I'm not mistaken didn't she mention something about how she was running the house until now when she never won an HOH or POV comp? I really hope her time has come because I want to hear Jeff trash talk Lydia ever so subtly some more. Best episode of the season so far hands down.
Aug 17th 2009 5:56PM It's too bad that original programming means nearly nothing right now. This series kinda helped me and my roommate come together. Every week after Lost we would watch this and got really into it. I didn't watch either of the others but what I saw of Pushing Daisies was really good.
