Jun 10th 2009 5:37PM Not the case, they just are only in stock for a few hours to a day at the most. I've ordered and got one in the timeframe you describe, and I've seen them in stock several times since while checking for guildies and friends.
the problem is that as soon as they are in stock all the wow blogs point people there, and they are out of stock very quickly.
May 5th 2009 5:17PM Elitist jerks is already showing deep destro as the top DPS spec if this stays the same as it is now
Mar 31st 2009 5:08PM This is an excellent site, and it's well moderated and actively maintained.
Feb 13th 2009 12:16PM To respond to some of what was said above, there are just as many bad Warlocks as any other class. I just get tired of the sweeping generalizations of the class because of your personal experience playing with some Warlock who didn't know WTH he was doing (and yeah, I've played with them to). If a lock is life tapping to the point where they are dying because of fight mechanics that they are familiar with, then they need to re-evaluate. Those of us that understand the class and the mechanics of the fight won't do that.
I'm also pretty tired of those people that have clearly never played the class making comments about how the class is played, how they should be life tapping, etc when you have no clue how Warlocks regenerate (or don't, in this case) mana.
Lifetap is an inherent part of the mechanic, but we also have talents and other spells to self-mitigate when we can't get heals.
The good healers in raid and guilds that I've run with understand this, and really only chastise other locks when they are egregiously lifetapping when it is unnecessary.
Feb 13th 2009 10:21AM "I can say when NOT to Lifetap.. after the darn fight is over!
As a healer, that is one of my pet peeves. "
As a Warlock, one of my pet peeves is that a healer feels the need to heal me after we are out of combat when it's obvious that I'm lifetapping to level out my bars.
My health regenerates much faster than my mana, so I level the bars out, then eat the mage food.
Feb 13th 2009 10:10AM The math has been done on ElitistJerks. The 4 piece bonus is not worth intentionally life tapping to keep up. The loss of GCD>the spirit bonus.
Jan 20th 2009 4:37PM looking forward to the changes to the warlock glyph for conflagrate and the boost to chaos bolt. going to spec deep destro tonight!
Dec 31st 2008 4:23PM Not having the same experiences as the OP, healthstones are still very much appreciated by my raid, and the two locks in my guild that have been 25 manning Naxx are both constantly in the top 5 for DPS.
I haven't even bothered with PVP, but if I wanted to PVP I'd play Warhammer, a game where PVP works a lot better...
Nov 24th 2008 4:18PM Vent is another option. Our guild has a rather active vent server and once you get a little comfortable in there, it's not too hard to ask in there. i'm often paying more attention to chatter in vent than i am /g anyway, and a lot of my fellow guildies are too...
Oct 14th 2008 4:08PM for the reasons this article discusses. i admit it was a while ago, so maybe I'll give it another go. i didn't find it to be terribly effective.
