Jul 27th 2007 12:42PM Alterac Valley for me. The rewards are nice, and the battles feel like the military campaign it is.

WarCry on Zul'Aman and "logical loot" {WoW}

Jul 25th 2007 6:12PM @8 I'm sick of killing Trolls in WoW. Sometimes it seems like I ever fight is Trolls. Then they release another Troll instance with Trolls taking on the aspects of animals. They've never had a Troll instance like that before! (Note sarcasm)

...but the loot system sounds nice.

New flight paths and graveyards {WoW}

Apr 12th 2007 3:47PM Two points to consider: A lot of those are Azeroth flight points, so the flying mount isn't really applicable there. There's also PvP immunity while using a flight path.

Otherwise, flying mounts would appear to be an excellent alternative.

"Classic" servers for a simpler time {WoW}

Apr 9th 2007 7:48PM A lot of you seem to be basing your argument on the assumption that players have been playing WoW for years or that they can simply do the instances now. This is simply a weak stance. Around a million players joined during the few months before BC was released. For most of them that simply wasn't enough time to learn the instances, let alone conquer them.

While most of us may have had ample time to play through these areas, on servers with the a server population interested in doing these dungeons, there are a good many who missed out on that. There may be good reasons to dismiss this idea, but using the excuse that we all had enough time, is not one of them. I certainly did, you may have, but a plethora of players did not.

Breakfast topic: The brotherhood of buffbots {WoW}

Apr 3rd 2007 11:21AM I buff people as often as I can. There are rare occasions where I pass however, if it looks like I might need the mana for a potential PvP situation. All in all, buffing people makes you feel good inside, especially when it's a class that really benefits a lot from your buff.

"Classic" servers for a simpler time {WoW}

Apr 3rd 2007 11:08AM @3 It doesn't have to do with being cheap, but with players not having had the chance to experience to old dungeons, the old style of gameplay. I'm sorry you feel the need to focus on the negative possibilities, like so many other World of Warcraft players, but there are many good reasons for such servers. Most people wanting this feature aren't doing so because they're too cheap or were lazing around.

I don't have a need for this sort of server, but admit that the idea has at least some merit, and I've pondered the idea myself.
