Apr 18th 2010 7:34PM Wow.com is for casual readers. You want constructive information on arena go to arenainformant.com, or worldofming for arena gossip. Wow.com's arena articles have always been somewhat lacking, but it's understandable considering that I bet 99% of wow.com's readers don't care for arena anyway.
Jun 26th 2007 2:50PM It's not a Clevo morons, just looking at the chassis would tell you that. Even the m9700 wasn't a Clevo, they're both rebranded Arimas.
As for "not having a DX10 GPU," while I agree that DX10 would be a logical improvement the fact of the matter is that there still isn't any DX10 GPU that matches the 7950gtx in terms of power. While the newly released 8700M may change that, the 8700m is an overclocked 8600M GT and quite frankly, the 8600M GT's performance doesn't even come close to the 7950 GTX.
In terms of Alienware quality, it's quite simple. You either get a good one and love it for a long time, or you get a lemon and hate Alienware forever because their incompetent CS department is unable to provide any sensible solution.
Mar 1st 2007 11:17PM 2004: Intel releases 64-Bit chip http://www.engadget.com/2004/07/01/intel-releases-64-bit-xeon-processor-holds-breath/
Where true gaming computers started coming.
2005 - Apple Goes Intel
I got a good laugh after Apple finally gave up its crappy PowerPC garbage. Macs > PCs and they give up and start using PC chips. HAW
2006 - Geforce 8 announced for laptops
Thanks to Engadget I don't have to hold my breath waiting for a Directx 10 mobile gpu to be announced.
Feb 24th 2007 9:09PM That's a pretty sweeping generalization don't you think?
PC Gaming a waste of money? All entertainment is a waste of money if you're going to be so objective about it. When I go to a bar I don't wake up the next morning and say, "Oh man, I have so much to show for that night out." The enjoyment you get while playing is what you paid for.
There are millions of PC gamers. I'm sure you'll find that if you gathered up every male dork living in his mom's basement together, it would not even remotely constitute the number of PC gamers.
Perhaps you should use your brain a little more before making rambling criticisms.
