Pride (in the name of the Horde) {WoW}

Nov 24th 2007 7:39PM Ok I will comment here, I have leveled two characters to 70 on the alliance side and now I am on a new server leveling a horde character and I have to say, from my PERSONAL experience:

- Alliance camp & gank way the ^&@#$ more
- Alliance tend to complain in BG's
- Alliance Mages cuss at you when you ask for food

- Horde seem to gank less and as a result seem be more in tune with PvP
- Horde have been more helpful in general chats
- Horde mages just don't make food :P

All in all me and all of my local friends have re-rolled horde, and we all agree; we wasted our time with Alliance characters.

WoW's population hits 9.3 million in Q3 2007 {WoW}

Nov 15th 2007 3:10PM Man the guys over that joystiq.com are throwing off wild estimated profits from wow. People are assuming that: 15$ per month X 9.3 mill = profit. Wrong! First off they are not accounting for the purchase of the original game and furthermore that is gross profit not net.

Out of that, Blizzard has to pay for dev teams, story writers add campaigns,
bandwidth, servers IT's, GM's, marketing, shipping, etc.... Let's not
forget that the money received is also being used to produce newer
games (Starcraft 2 etc).

Now they are still netting serious money but it is not the inflated
numbers we see thrown around here.

Breakfast Topic: The class to be in 2.0.10 {WoW}

Feb 25th 2007 8:26AM For PvP I believe that all the classes except for priests and warriors should be playable in the new patch, the reason I say so is that no matter what a priest does/spec he/she will always be focus fired. Warriors on the other hand do have some viable techniques now in the new patch... but there are too many ways for most classes to defeat them.

The best classes for PvP still continue to excell aka mages, hunters, rogues & warlocks.

Just my two cents,
