May 16th 2010 11:15PM I second the request for Android coverage. Android passed up Iphone in U.S. market share last quarter so please expand to this OS.
Jul 19th 2009 2:48PM Yep, Blackberry's U.S. smartphone marketshare is almost double Apple's. Apple won't be able to lead in the U.S. until it gets rid of its crippling exclusive with AT&T. Imagine how many Iphones they could sell if they were available on all networks, like the Blackberries.
Jul 19th 2009 12:14PM I agree with others requesting apps for Blackberry. The Blackberries outsell the Iphone, first quarter 2009 sales rankings were:
1. RIM BlackBerry Curve (all 83XX models)
2. Apple iPhone (all models)
3. RIM BlackBerry Storm
4. RIM BlackBerry Pearl (all models, except flip)
5. T-Mobile G1
Blackberry has over 50% of U.S. smartphone market share. Apple in second place shares the remainder with Palm, Windows Mobile, and Android phones. So get with the Blackberry support Bliz.
Aug 26th 2008 1:32PM I'm disappointed but not surprised by this statement. Blizzard normally seems to strongly defend the integrity of its games, as seen in their focus on stopping bots and gold selling. But in the case of multiboxers it feels like they are seeing dollar signs before all else.
Personally I'm fine with multiboxers who are playing more than one toon at the same time, AS LONG AS one key or mouse press triggers only a SINGLE toon. Its these automated boxers who press one key and trigger five synchronized chain lightings that should be banned. That sort of automated gameplay is the same as botting in my book.
In DAOC you almost had to have multiple accounts to compete. Multiple accounts give you a big advantage in EVE. I used to think WoW wasn't affected until I started running into automated shaman squads in BGs and arena.
Players using switches to control multiple toons with a single key press should not be allowed, period. Its just bad, bad, bad for the long term health of the game.
Dec 4th 2007 12:06PM Defense just slows the games to a crawl and costs everyone honor. I'd rather play back to back ten minute games. Win or lose fast games seem better overall honor for me.
Aug 9th 2007 6:31PM As someone who deleted a human priest and rerolled a dwarf, I hope they find some reasonably fair way to handle this. I'd be in favor of reducing the racial spells to a small number and giving them to all priests. Or perhaps they could give priests the option to "specialize" in a certain god or belief system and give them certain spells based on this. This would let them retain most or all of the current racial spells but let each priest make a choice separate from race.
Jul 25th 2007 7:14PM I'd love this mount. Oh, and the TCG is actually a very well designed game.
Jul 16th 2007 4:02PM Griftah was simply enforcing a tax on stupidity. If you bought any of his items expecting them to do something special, you were paying a tax for being stupid. WoW needs more taxes like this to help take money out of the economy and reduce inflation.
Jun 11th 2007 6:06PM I've always thought the Onyxia key questline for alliance had a great story. Its kinda a pain due to all the steps in BRD but hey. Windsor is THE MAN.
May 28th 2007 1:40PM The beauty of this system is it doesn't just work on the gold farmers. Now when some fool decides to spam the trade channel with some idiocy, a bunch of people can easily report him and Bliz will slap a gag on his account.
