Dec 23rd 2011 1:43PM I've been dreaming of this loot for a couple of years now... LOVE IT!
Nov 30th 2011 8:31AM Hmmm... All my friends have long left the game yet I'm still here. I don't raid anymore and rarely will you ever find me in a dungeon. I have yet to enter a cataclysm dungeon as a matter of fact.
I come back for one simple reason. I just love being in Azeroth. Period.
Hanging out in Stormwind or taking a trip out to some out of the way place like Netherstorm. I just love being in game. ;-)
Nov 1st 2011 8:36AM Really hope we get nice capital cities in the expansion. Would LOVE another Stormwind style city with world PvP opportunities set up for some great faction battles.
Aug 18th 2011 8:38AM Ahhhhh.... Can FINALLY drag out my hunter Tier 5 - Rift Stalker set! Loves me some lightning bolts!!
Mar 30th 2010 2:18PM ONE of these days I'll win a loot card!
Mar 26th 2010 10:39AM One of the most quaint little places that I like kicking my boots off is the Black Knight's hideout off the coast of Ice Crown. Nice creature comforts there, a nice warm stove, some furs & snow shoes along with supplies.
In BC, there's a small floating flower garden above firewing point that I like to hang out on. Nice and picturesque. As for Vanilla WoW, Nothing beats the little path just north of Booty Bay that leads up to a nice spot behind a waterfall. As a matter of fact, think I'll just go there now and relax!
Dec 30th 2009 1:13PM Definitely love the "oven mitts" reference. However I wouldn't limit human males to that little mishap. Most (if not all) of the races suffer from this deformity. Take female Night Elves for example. Just looking at them, you can tell that Blizzard to great care to design them to be as feminine, athletic and nimble as they possibly could. Then you get to their hands. Reminds me of that Sienfeld episode where his girlfriend had "man-hands"!
Another would be bears. Their faces have been frozen in that same snarl since time began. Time for bears to express themselves.
Dec 25th 2009 9:57AM I'll be sending out some Icescale Leg Armor to a rogue that I've been using through out the year to guide me in leveling my own.
Oh, and a rant to Blizzard - Not being able to gift wrap stackable items is complete FAIL!!!
Dec 22nd 2009 6:26PM Thanks everyone for the kind words and thanks WoW dot Com for the gracious "15 Minutes"!
Coming from a "hardcore" raiding guild I'd just flat out run out of gas. I stopped my raiding at Malygos and decided to take it easy. I'll be honest, I went through a period pondering whether WoW was still the game for me. I bounced in and out of guilds that were advertising "casual raiding" only to find out that I was promptly placed into a secondary group for raiding "casually".
That's when I posted the "Do Raiding Guilds Exist" thread over on the official realm forums.
When I found the Vanguard of Norrath, I was pleasantly surprised that "Retirement Guilds DO EXIST!" We take great pleasure in jumping on and running a dungeon (or three) at the spur of the moment. We don't bother ourselves with spreadsheets, gear websites and the like. We log in for one thing and one thing only - TO HAVE FUN!
And VoN is really good at doing just that!
Finally, I'd like to say, if raiding is your thing, go for it! If you are having fun, tuck the World of Warcraft under your arm and run with it as fast as you can! After all, WoW, with all of it's intricacies is just a game and games are meant to be fun!
Have fun all and I'll see you around that meeting stone!
