Oct 30th 2010 9:03AM First character was a pally in vanilla WoW because the archetype sounded cool. Leveling was painful, but I loved healing. Got him up to L59 before someone recommended that if I like healing, I should try a priest. The person was correct, my main has been my priest since that day, and my pally stayed at L59 for years.
Of course, they've made all four healing classes interesting now, but at the time, a holy priest was the most fun you could have healing.

Jun 21st 2009 4:16PM Been reading since it was PS3 Fanboy. :)
Apr 28th 2009 6:27PM Arg, I had money reserved for this title explicitly, as my wife and I like good, deep games. Still, I suspected as much when the indie developer said "porting to xbox360 and ps3". It's the same sign for the developer of Sacred 2: non-trivial work ahead.
Apr 16th 2009 12:09PM After viewing the trailer, I'm really glad I read the book. :) It's a hell of a lot smarter than that trailer.
This preview looks like exactly how the emotional/moral book that I liked to be directed by the guy who did the Notebook. "heartwarming heartwarming heartwarming! HEARTWARMING! IS YOUR HEART WARM? HOW ABOUT NOW? Ok then."
Apr 16th 2009 11:58AM Maybe speculative fiction would have been better.
The book explores the consequences of parents conceiving a second child expressly for the purpose of organ harvesting for the first child. It doesn't have any of the usual trappings of traditional scifi, but the frame of mind is the same: take an idea, push it beyond what exists now, and talk about how it affects people or a group of people.
In my opinion, that's the best speculative fiction anyway.
Apr 16th 2009 11:47AM The novel was great. She can really write.
I thought the novel was a very cool, under-the-radar scifi story.
Mar 17th 2009 2:26PM But how good will the offline coop play?
