Nov 16th 2007 2:25PM Great article! Thanks very much.
Nov 10th 2007 12:01PM Or I might be wrong. That was how it was told to me.
Nov 10th 2007 11:58AM Slightly offtopic, but John mentioned this aside in the article:
("QQ" is somehow shorthand for "Cry a lot")
Western emoticons are based on drawing a face sideways (most of the time the nose is omitted):
:-D >:p :o
Japanese emoticons are based around drawing the eyes and looking at it straight on (most of the time, the () are omitted):
(o.O) (^_^) >_<
So two eyes crying is: (Q.Q) or just QQ for short.
I hope you found this presentation interesting and informative.
Nov 8th 2007 10:12AM As a raiding priest:
4 stacks (80) Sacred Candles (Prayer of Fortitude/Spirit/Shadow Protect, and Shadow Protect is only 20 min). If I'm the only priest in the raid, these go quick.
1 stack (20) each of blackened basilisk and golden fishsticks
1 stack (20) each of Elixir of Draenic Wisdom and Adept's Elixir and Healing Power (use is situational)
5 stacks (25) Super Mana Pots. Some fights go on forever.
5 or more charges of mana regen oil
4 minipets. Secret of every new boss killing is to find the minipet that scares them and allows you to win. Aran is afraid of Prairie Chicken. And Eggbert is the minipet to break out when the raid is going too slow.
Sep 27th 2007 1:12PM I agreed with Cosmic. Imagine if you combine what is currently Sunder Armor with what is currently Devastate:
Devastate now applies one Sunder effect per use, while doing extra damage based on number of sunders on the target. All skills that improve Sunder Armor now affect Devastate.
At least, that's my best guess.
Mar 1st 2007 2:18PM @3: Complete agreement, and also, I almost fell out of my chair when I realized how much my generous guild management paid for ventrilo. Very expensive. I'd love for it to be built in.
