Oct 9th 2009 12:01AM Its a mouseover thing in Firefox.... when i go to google.com, all i see is the Goog logo and the searchbar on the page untill i move my mouse. No biggie, but IMO it looks pretty clean without all the extra stuff. Its almost like a splash screen lol.

I couldnt agree more. If you think about it, most smartphones that are coming out now are considerably more expensive than EEEpcs, which you can find in the sub-$200 price range now. I could see myself paying monthly for a 3G-ready netbook that I could keep when my contract is up. Hell, I practically do that already with my G1.
Sep 10th 2009 10:16PM Hamachi is the shiznit. My main use for it is gaming, but I've been using it as a remote file server and IM client quite a bit too.
I've noticed that certain games don't work with the latest versions of hamachi (ones released prior to 2.0). Version 188.8.131.52 is the one I've been using as a workaround. Does anyone know if they fixed whatever the issue was with the release of 2.0?
Sep 9th 2009 12:15PM Yeah its pretty damn good. It seems to use a good bit of memory (on my g1) but thats the only slow part about it. Generally speaking, you wont have to wait more than 5 seconds for a song to cache and play if you have 3g. Ive heard the streaming on Edge is even superior to the likes of tunewiki and imeem. With Pandora's seemingly big outreach for more money (I'm referring to the fact that they charge $1 a month if you listen for more than 40 hours. Which is very reasonable.), I'm surprised that they made this a free app. Wish I could say the same for the Spotify app, but then again I'm in America. I really wish they would even give me the opportunity to pay for the service!
But I digress... If you havent downloaded the Pandora app, go get it asap. Its even better than their Flash-heavy webui.
Sep 7th 2009 12:45PM I could use an xbox. I dont currently own any consoles :D
Jul 31st 2009 5:31PM "Despite the excellent number setting, SMS, and Voicemail features, I felt that most of the application features really needed to be integrated at the OS level, which they presumably will be in Google Chrome or Android."
Not to sound fanboy or anything, but with the GV app for Android, you can set your phone up to use either your Voice account or your regular cell service whenever you go to dial/text.
