Joystiq interview: World of Warcraft's Tom Chilton {Joystiq}

Aug 29th 2008 8:28PM hmm strange that he said the points aren't worth anything and are just high scores. General assumption has been that they would be spendable on cosmetic rewards such as tabards.

Flash game most likely to become internet meme phenomenon: YHTBTR {Joystiq}

Apr 6th 2008 6:38PM It was just a lame obvious attempt at trying to do the ending from portal.

WoW Rookie: All you needed to know about stats, part 2 {WoW}

Jun 17th 2007 6:52AM That was a good read, cleared up a lot of issues i wasn't too clear on.

Druid (cat form): (strength x 2) + (level x 3) - 20
Druid (bear form): (strength x 2 + agility) + (level x 2) - 20

The '+ agility' should be on cat form and not bear form.

Working for a spoiler-free Azeroth {WoW}

Jun 4th 2007 7:47PM I'm reading HBP again to get me ready for the next book. It's going to be imba.

I cant decide if i should read fast to avoid it being spoilt...or to save it as it's the last one.

WoW Insider on G4's Attack of the Show tonight {WoW}

May 21st 2007 7:08PM i hope this is on the podcast. I live in the UK so don't get g4 but i like the attack of the show podcasts.

Should you lose experience when you die?, revisited {WoW}

Apr 8th 2007 9:05PM your body (tombstone) would remain where you died -- along with all of your soulbound items

It was the oposite, when you die anything not soul bound to you remain on your tombstone. You could make any bindable items soulbound by purchasing a fairly cheap binding stone and using it on them.

It was a pretty good system but if you forgot to bind your gear then you'd have to get back to where you died with no gear which was a bit ilogical. if you managed to die with your gear, how are you going to do any better with out it.

Digital distribution panel: Retail and downloads work together {Joystiq}

Mar 8th 2007 8:10AM Digital downloads of games is just like buying music off itunes or wherever, for me if im going to pay for a game or music then i'd want an actual physical copy.

My internet is too slow anyway, i could order a game off amazon and get it before the download would have finished, and besides i think digital downloads of a game should be a lot cheaper than the retail versions, yet i don't find that to be the case. I considered downloading the burning crusade wow expansion and found i could get it for like £5's less off amazon.
