May 17th 2010 9:27AM I just contributed. I am a database Analyst and Facebook has got to be one of the most insidious scams to ever be foisted on the World. Its a case of "We will tell a lie so big and be so brazen about it that people won't grasp what we are doing until it's too late." The government would normally be responsible for policing this but OH, THAT'S RIGHT, the founder of Facebook was on Obama's Campaign staff! The Obama campaign ran off Facebook.

It's not just that Facebook "has a few privacy issues" they are fundamentally scornful of the very idea. It is a massive phishing scam on a global scale, to vacuum up every possible piece of information about you before they get caught. And once they have it, they have it forever. They have made clear that once you surrender the information it belongs to them.

I punted FB a long time ago. It was harder to convince my friends but they are coming around. I did get them to restrict what they put on at least. Unfortunately the damage is already done.

Dec 4th 2009 6:21AM Hey I've got a plan; why don't I just email a "%$#% you" and then report them to my CC company as a fraud and block them from billing. How about that?

Ask WoW Insider: Best healing class? {WoW}

Jun 15th 2008 10:02PM It's interesting to see how the responses have changed over time(Along with peoples gear). The ultimate answer?

I have seen every class succeed and beat every other class with a skilled person running the character. I've seen under-geared Druids beating decked out Priests and vice versa. Healing is a skill by itself regardless of what class you play that requires you to have situational awareness, know what to and when to do it. "Look how many spells I got" doesn't mean squat if you don't know whats going on or what to do.

For the record I have a 70 Paladin with +2300 unbuffed healing and around 9-10k mana/health I dont know or care because I never run out of either. My experience is through TK/SSC. I top the charts whenever I want but I honestly stopped caring about that a long time ago. Single-healing Kara has been my current challenge.

I primarily raid heal; for PvP it is a different story. That depends on the particular changes they have for that arena season. But still I have seen people do arenas naked and BG's in greens just to prove a point.

One last note: Since this post was started Blizzard has made many changes that drastically altered the classes and the state of healing raids. They have made gear available for Priests and Druids that makes them much stronger healers. They have gimped Paladins relatively but they also removed a lot of the necessity of having certain classes in certain fights(Nightbane no longer runs amok when he fears the tank for example)

So pick any class you like: They are all good and it is more important to be a good healer than to "Be a certain class".

Bob Lutz not backing down on the whole global warming is a "total crock of sh*t" thing {Autoblog Green}

Feb 27th 2008 12:03PM How is global warming a problem if we can't afford the substance that is doing the warming anymore?

Gas is 3.20 a gallon where I live. It's going to be 3.75 by summer. I'm not paying that. So I ride a bike and take the Bus.

The tree huggers are talking about global warming like gas is still 1.75 or something and gosh "We need to stop this rampant use of Gasoline".

What planet do you guys live on?

3.20 a gallon is stopping my consumption just fine.
