Please let me know which server you play as I would love to abandon the GS nightmare that has invaded mine :(
Apr 29th 2010 11:40AM As a priest this was almost impossible for me to get, leading to much frustration. However, if you stick it out you will eventually run into someone that will help - took a pally dropping the EoTS flag and letting me cap it to complete this evilness.
I'll be sure to try and return the favor if I can this year.
/speeds off on his Violet Proto Drake :)
Feb 17th 2010 4:02PM Considering you are complaining about a company that donated over a million dollars to enrich the lives of sick children and you find some "down side" to it, you come off looking kinda like a douche......
Feb 17th 2010 3:27PM "why do they give $1.1mil to 20 sick children?"
The children that got to visit the Blizzard offices has nothing to do with the 1.1 million dollars donated. The money will continue to grant wishes all year long.
The children visiting was an added bonus.
Feb 17th 2010 3:12PM "A lot of people just aren't recognizing what Blizzard GAINS from this donation."
Who cares what Blizzard gains?
They gave 1.1 MILLION DOLLARS to help grant the wishes of children with life-threatening medical conditions. That is what matters here.
Feb 17th 2010 2:53PM As an employee of the Make-A-Wish Foundation I can assure that we are very happy with this donation.
1. Does Blizzard get good press? YES
2. Do they get a tax write off? YES
3. Do sick children get the chance to have their wish come true? YES
I think #3 easily trumps 1 & 2.
Cheers & Thanks Blizzard!
