Oct 3rd 2011 7:48PM about time, I'd have been happy if they just made them tradeable among people in the same guild. nothing worse than having 5 people that can craft your gun and the only one with enough orbs is a the tailor >
Jul 15th 2010 9:13AM has anyone considered that they might just be using auctioneer or some other AH addon to scan the auctions then just loading the saved auction data from Auctioneer's files to their application? All you would need is WoW running 24/7 somewhere, a way to keep auctioneer continually scanning, an automatic FTP of the files to the web server say every 30 min and a scheduled task on the server to import the files.
Seems like this would get around botting or hacking into the remote AH data quite nicely. If it's ok for AH addons to download and save historical auction data to files, there's probably not something specific in the ToS that says what you can do with those files outside of the game.
May 30th 2010 11:54AM i try, i really do, but i just can't stick with it. I picked up WoW to be a mage and burn people up with fiery death from my hands (excursions into arcane for raiding are out of necessity). I got a lock to 80 and never got another toon past 25 or so. No matter what other class i try, I just can't fight the pull of fiery magey-ness. Every minute played on another toon is a minute lost on the mage

Jan 28th 2010 9:08AM i just want to comment that you can in fact "lose achievements". I got Loremaster as an alliance mage. Later, I transferred to horde. I no longer have Loremaster of kalimdor or eastern kingdoms as well as a few other zones. I DO still have the Loremaster title however. Eventually, I'll complete these achievements again from the horde perspective, but it kinda sucked to lose them.
Dec 26th 2009 3:07PM Seems no one has a PvP trinket in BGs anymore. my favorite trick , PoM + Poly. I can just imagine the omgwtf going on as the guy charging me is instantly turned into a supply of wool and mutton. what's surprising is how many victims of this either don't know how to get out of it or are willing to wait while I pop a trink or AP and prepare to unload on them...
Dec 13th 2009 9:14PM not gonna read all the comments, but ban on forum should come with an in-game ban. you want to be a tool online, then maybe an enforced break from WoW is just what you need. step away, it's only a game. if 24 hrs without WoW causes you to cancel your account, well, there's 10 new players with better attitudes about to sign up. Cya...
Sep 11th 2009 8:35AM bellygrub... i go out of my way to stop in redridge and kill that pig. i still haven't evened the score, i fell victim to his piggy butt too many times.
Aug 27th 2009 10:09AM i'm finally in a guild that has someone doing every prof. However, one thing i used to do is grab a screenshot of the mats in the trade window before i click trade. i also made sure the chat window was visible and showing the part where the other person agreed to craft X for me. It wouldn't stop them from ripping me off, but i would have proof of the deal to send a GM if i had to.
another thing, don't freak out if you give someone mats and they run off. ask them what they are doing. I threatened to report a blacksmith after he ran off with my mats once. My bad, he needed to go to a forge to craft the item >
Jul 6th 2009 3:41PM the last several podcasts i've downloaded from itunes have had sound issues. the host is extremely faint. Everyone else is load and clear. If you adjust the volume for the host you get your ears blown out when anyone else speaks or turpster breathes into the mike. If you adust for everyone else the host is nearly inaudible. Happens on my PC, iphone, and an old creative mp3 player i dug out to try it.
just thought you should know.
