May 21st 2008 3:46PM In response to everyone who's jumping on the union bandwagon, and speaking as someone who actively works on video games and has done so for over 6 years:

Unions are a bad, bad idea for the video game industry. I'll sum it up in three words:

Double game prices.

Right now, while I hate the industry works, and I really do, being on the "low end" of the pay:hours ratio, unionizing is not the answer. All that will do is raise costs to the point where nobody will buy the games, thus driving the unions completely out of business. It'll go right back to non-union companies making games.

Dec 3rd 2007 8:31PM That's an AWESOME feature. Now, when I need to check my Auctioneer for the recommended price for some item and I don't actually have one to look at in-game, I can bring the link INTO the game instead of having to bug guildies for it.
