Feb 26th 2010 8:01AM We always start new content with 3 healers to make up for the "lack" of dps and tank gear at the start. Also helps keeps the fight going for learning. Less early wipes and more seeing all the phases.
Then once we have a few runs under are belt and we all know the tactics we drop to 2 healers apart from some bosses where movement would mean that some of the player would be out of ranges of the healers.
So far in ICC we use these set up
First wing all healed by a Disc priest (me) and a Resto shammy
Plague Works Rotface and Festergut 2 healed by the same
The Proffesor 3 healed, to allow for when a heal gets rooted by the Green ooze and tank has moved oor.
Blood prince 3 healed, to allow for the amount of movement just in case of a knockback
Blood queen - 2 healed
VDW - 3 healed 1 on raid 2 on the boss
Sindragosa - 2 healed but does require perfect plays from the group
LK - Still learning that fight so 3 healed atm
