BlizzCon 2011 goodie bag pictures have surfaced {WoW}

Oct 20th 2011 4:36AM Hmm, seems to me the SC2 portrait will be WoW related. And uh... I know it's blurred out and all, but the pixelated palette seems to suggest a panda.

Remote Auction House beta testing ends {WoW}

Jun 7th 2010 11:35PM It is listed as WoW Remote Auction House, and the website on Blizzard comments that it is available on the Android Market.

Remote Auction House beta testing ends {WoW}

Jun 7th 2010 10:54PM Umm, it is on the Android. As of today. I have it installed on my Incredible right now.

Blizzard at PAX 2009 wrapup {WoW}

Sep 8th 2009 3:13PM I was working a retail booth at PAX this year and got a few chances to chat it up with (formerly) Drysc and Zarhym; didn't know Bornakk was there. The first day they didn't have any giveaway stuff, but it looks like they had some stuff overnighted and on the second day they were handing out hand sanitizer and authenticators.

It looked like some of the landscape textures had been beefed up and Drysc mentioned that system requirements may be going up for this expansion as well. I had also noticed when playing both Worgen and Goblin that there were a lot of green drops on top of the green quest rewards and both Zarhym and Drysc commented that they while the items in the demo were certainly placeholders it was their intention to hand out some good stuff early on in the game and that this will carry over to the rest of the starting areas as well.

An interesting note, the last pre-private E3 had 60k attendees (they measure this officially across conventions by "turnstile" so not necessarily by actual person count). When E3 went public again this last year they had 40k. Dragoncon had 35k this year. Last year PAX had 58k, and this year they had 75,000 attendees.

And yes, I did get sick as well (even though I was using sanitizer like crazy) but not with Swine flu. The hypochondriac in me worried for a bit, but I confirmed I did not get the piggy flu. Check with your doctor to be on the safe side, but also remember to take a fever reducer like Tylenol, Aspirin or Ibuprofen. I was running at 102.4 for a while, but within 45 minutes of taking some Ibuprofen my fever started to break (which btw, will cause you to sweat like a maniac).

World of Warcraft: Cataclysm leaked by MMO-Champion {WoW}

Aug 15th 2009 12:18PM There are some interesting bits at the end of the Arthas novel which hint at the expansion progression. It makes allusions, in order, to Wrath of the Lich King, then something to do with the Maelstrom, then the Emerald Nightmare, and finally a showdown with Sargeras. All which would lead nicely into a destruction/rebirth of Azeroth for a World of Warcraft II.

Breakfast Topic: What iPhone app should Blizzard release next? {WoW}

Jul 20th 2009 12:03AM Once again Ringo, check you information. While there may not be other Android phones for sale officially in the US yet, there are overseas. You seem to have a lot of biased hate filled disinformation for the Android platform.

Breakfast Topic: What iPhone app should Blizzard release next? {WoW}

Jul 20th 2009 12:01AM Hey Ringo, you may want to do a little fact checking... Android users are in the millions as well.

The Queue: All your fault {WoW}

Jun 16th 2009 3:13PM Sorry Trickster,

You've been tricked by White Wolf's incredible inability to update their sites. That WAS the release date of the WoW RPG book using d20 OGL; June 27th... 2005. There are no new editions coming that have been announced.

Breakfast Topic: Awesome Animations {WoW}

Mar 28th 2009 12:59PM I always liked how Remulos (and others sharing his model in smaller scale) will occasionally hold up their spiky fingered hand and poke at a fingertip with their non-spiky hand and retract quickly because it hurt.
