Patch 3.3: The Dungeon Finder Guide {WoW}

Dec 8th 2009 1:14PM The random heroic feature is certainly exciting, but just as exciting (IMO) is the prospect of being able to find groups for old world dungeons again on my 40-some-odd alts. ;)

BFD, here we come! (Okay, maybe not, but RFK should be doable.)

Patch 3.3 compatible addons {WoW}

Dec 8th 2009 11:30AM lol
"Mainly out of date addons"? You mean like DBM, Outfitter, Quartz, Quest helper, .. (Okay, granted, after this patch maybe QH is out dated).

Wowmatrix now offers its own hosting to addon developers, which most worthwhile addons have taken advantage of. And Wowmatris is a much cleaner, simpler application to use.

I'm not interested in Curse's little propaganda war. I understand they were losing ad revenue and did what they felt they had to do to secure their business model. Whatever.

I use Wowmatrix because it's better.

LOL

A small defense skill change in 2.4 could herald larger things {WoW}

Feb 12th 2008 12:27PM While Paladins would certainly love the removal of crushing blows, making it easier to be a raid-worthy tank, warrior crushing blow mitigation is definitely not superior to that of a paladin's. While Holy Shield doesn't increase the chance to block by as much as Shield Block, it does so for more charges and a longer duration.

Fast hitting bosses eat through warriors' Shield Block all the time. It is extremely rare for the same to happen to an uncrushable tankadin.

Jumping up and down {WoW}

Jul 4th 2007 11:57AM It's either jump or play with my engineering trinkets. Jumping is less likely to cause a wipe. ;)

OTOH, my (NE) rogue likes to jump into his gouges; and do a quick 180 flip into a backstab. It's all about style. :)

Breakfast Topic: Pick your poisons {WoW}

Mar 28th 2007 9:10AM Crippling is a must for PvP; so much so that I put it on my main hand. Off-hand gets Instant. I find that the fights are so quick, most spells being cast are instants, and there's not that much healing going on, wound the mind numbing don't seem all that useful. More than anything else, I want to max out my dps and take down my target as quick as possible.

PvE, I run much the same as you. Crippling on my off-hand if I'm fighting runners. Rarely use Deadly since I don't like it messing up my stuns. Mind-numbing on a caster mob. Though I'm typically too cheap and lazy to switch poisons and often just run around with Instant and Crippling regardless.

Breakfast topic: A guilty mind {WoW}

Mar 22nd 2007 10:34AM 12 yo is still a little kid, despite how tough you'd like to remember yourself at that age. And you'd be especially sensitive playing a game where you're painfully aware that most people are older than you and there's a stigma against your age...

Seriously, there's no reason to be a jerk in game. We're all their to have fun, and it's not necessary to ruin somebody else's to have your own.

If you're feeling so moral, why not free that Naaru you're holding and torturing??
