Totem Talk: And you will go forth with dual specs to conquer {WoW}

Feb 19th 2009 5:57PM Yet another dud article. :: yawn ::

Tank Talk: I love tank {WoW}

Jun 20th 2008 1:17PM I love Paladin Tanks. When I was a lowly elemental shaman, Paladin Tanks were the only tanks willing to bring my CC-less, blistering DPS. Now that I'm a Resto Shaman, I have to admit, it takes a little more work to heal a Pally compared to a warrior or Druid. It's definitely more exciting.

All the World's a Stage: Pros and cons of total-immersion roleplay {WoW}

Jun 16th 2008 2:36PM Role-playing = lame. Ugghhh.

Totem Talk: Stuff to wear to kill stuff in Karazhan Pt. 1 {WoW}

Jun 6th 2008 2:14PM You're thinking too much like a Resto Shaman by favoring Mp5 over Crit. You'll save more mana and chain-pot less by Crit-ing more frequently. With that said, I'd take the Mazorthil shield over the one that drops from Nightbane.

Additionally, the 33 badge shield for Resto is lame and obsolete. No one should be using this.

Regarding casting DPS gloves, I really think the PvP gloves are the best pieces you can get pre-Kara. The increased shock distance can prove the "oomph" you need to squeeze out that last little bit of DPS.

Anyhoo, nice article. Crit > mp5, imo, for an Elemental Shaman (even though I haven't been one in a really long time...)

Roleplaying is a wave of the future {WoW}

Jun 2nd 2008 6:08PM I can't say I'm an RPer. I feel like I'm a little too old to be taking it that far. Just by playing the game and having ownership of the character feels like RPing to me. My apologies to all the RP purists out there.

Whenever I'm bored in the game, I like to jump on that boat from Menethil Harbor to Theramore and pretend I'm the Captain of the boat in hopes that I can get a laugh or two. I tell lots of filthy pirate jokes about 'getting some booty' and 'butt pirates.' Playing a role for a good few laughs is pretty freakin' funny, especially when you're drunk or high.

But serious role-playing... I don't really get it. It sounds super lame. Seriously. It's pretty lame if it ain't for laughs.

The Care and Feeding of Warriors: Gearing for Kara, Prot Warriors part 1 {WoW}

May 30th 2008 4:53PM What Melissa said... Even though those boots are a quest reward from regular ol' Mana Tombs, these boots are solid until you get the Boots of Elusion or Battlescar Boots in Kara. They're pretty darn good, considering you get them from a level 65ish dungeon.

About the Bloggers: Alex Ziebart {WoW}

May 20th 2008 9:16PM I really hope you're part Asian. There's nothing more annoying than a white person who thinks they can appreciate (or, dare I say, 'exploit') 'Eastern' elements - that it's not just because they like anime (blech!) or hope to hook up with Asian women.

Your 'girls kick ass' argument has to be one of the lamest ever. Personally, I just can't get wrap my head around the concept of playing as a female. I happen to be one of those people who thinks that guys who *complusively* roll human/nelf/belf/draenei females are hot for their toons. (I can understand if people who have a million alts and want to see things from a different perspective.) Just admit that you're one of those people. Don't worry, you're not the only one.

Other than that, great job on everything else.
