Mar 1st 2008 8:27AM Why would you even need a ladder on these hypothetical God-player realms? I'm sure they'd be just as fun, perhaps even more so for the hodge-podge insanity that would emerge from the chaos. Got my vote, where do I sign?
Oct 9th 2007 9:55PM I think a more pertinent question to poll would be "Do you WANT to hate the opposing faction." Which I would then answer, 'Hell yes' to - but at the moment, to quote the eponymous WoW Jimmy Machinima - "I hate more Alliance than I do Horde"...

Original article is here:
(I thought the URL looked wrong :P)
Sep 20th 2007 9:41AM Sirlin from Sirlin.net, a long time gaming professional, as it were, wrote an article for Gamasutra in a much similar fashion. Much like your article I disagreed with it, but here it is, nevertheless.
He called it "World of Warcraft teaches the wrong things" and had a similar scathing view of 'the grind.'
Have a look.
Sep 16th 2007 10:10AM Simple formula to calculate whether or not to grind rep:
Quality of Reward ===== > 111
--------------- > 1
Time * Tediousness ===== > 1
Gosh I hope the above post works out.... :P
Jun 15th 2007 11:48PM I really liked your Macros! Keep 'em coming! And more Warlock macros, please! Your column inspired me to make a 'one click' Amplify curse and Curse of Doom (as Amp. Curse isn't on global cooldown, I don't think...) and whenever I want to use CoD I always want it amplified anyway. :P Reckon someone could come up with something? I don't know if you'd need to make sure that it will still cast CoD if Amp. Curse is not up, otherwise you'd only be able to use the macro the first time during a boss fight... and then every 3 minutes, whereas CoD is on a 1m cooldown... hmm...
May 26th 2007 7:30AM I think this is a really interesting topic! Unfortunately, I haven't really seen much in the way of "in game art" in WoW.
I was really excited, however, by The Lord of the Rings Online’s in game music creating feature. I've not actually seen it in action, but I hear that people can jam and even recreate 'real world' music in game... Pretty sweet, if you ask me! I'd pay a few (in game of course) gold to go to a concert in wow for an hour or two, provided the music (or the play, anyone?? Now there's a very possible idea!) was good... I can see it now!! Whole crowds of WoW players going /dance with all the undead up the front headbanging!!
It's a pity (and actually a surprise considering the size of the WoW fanbase) that we don't see more of this kind of thing. There's not even been that much stuff that related back to the real world, from what I've seen. What about a sit in protest to protest 3rd world debt or something. The only thing I can think of like this is that guy (name escapes me) who runs a tongue-in-cheek blog to get people to 'stop the unnecessary slaughter' of WoW critters.
Anyway, that's my thoughts!
May 14th 2007 8:27AM @2 - Here here! More MASSIVE scale organised PvP FTW! Maybe a multiple battleground campain thing? Win several AV's in a row (each a unique battleground) and you win the campian... A bit like an EPL or Silithus, but with some ACTUAL incentive to visit! :P
Any new BG's would be great though... EoTS is just nothing new... Blizz, did you use all your creativity on BC and stumped for ideas?
