Dec 30th 2010 1:51AM With the amount of people currently leveling through Cata content the competition for the Elite mobs can get a bit out of hand. So instead of being a douche and stealing someones kill I just invite any people from my faction (up to 4) waiting for the mob into a group and take it down that way.
It's quicker and no-one gets upset about having to wait. Also handy to reduce waiting time as most people don't seem to see the Rogue sneaking up behind the great big ugly monster. :(
Dec 30th 2010 12:17AM I've bought the flipped over cards on a non-RP server as they were selling for less than the vendor price and it seemed like easy money.
Perhaps people like the fortunes? Or they can't tell the difference between a flipped and non-flipped card?
Dec 23rd 2010 11:21PM I have to say when choosing my rogue I never even considered positioning or role. I just always play rogues. She is still my main and I my only toon above 80.
I've quested with her, PVP'd with here and raided with her.
Hunters, mages and healers just don't have the same draw as my little rogue :D
Guess I'm not a typical girl /shrug.
Oct 9th 2010 9:30PM I've always played rogues in RPG's so of course I rolled a rogue as my first toon in WOW.
My Rogue was hard to level through combat xp but I found that the ability to make gold early using pickpocket and the excitement of attempting to stealth all the way to the back of a dungeon totally made up for it.
I love my rogue.
Am currently on hiatus until Cata but before I left I was also the only raiding rogue in my guild. Our healers were awesome for keeping Ms Squishy alive so much.
Oct 19th 2009 2:24AM Did it a few times last night. After we had no problems with him on a full run my friend on his dk and my rogue two manned him as well.
Was very easy.
Then we had a picnic and roasted marshmallows over his flamey corpse.
No mount, no squashling but 3 brooms. Ah wells maybe tonight.
Oct 7th 2009 2:57AM On my server the top raiding guild had all members server transfer and switch to Horde recently. They had a lot of server firsts so it came as a surprise to most people.
Not sure why they did it but there is now a vacancy for No 1 guild on Alliance side.
Sep 15th 2009 10:02PM I'm looking forward to the away missions. I can't wait to explore far away planets and kill all sorts of aliens ... i mean make peacful diplomatic contact with all sorts of aliens >.>
May 19th 2009 9:14PM Random comment time.
Hope they turn Wintersgrasp back on soon :/
Apr 14th 2009 4:12AM Unfortunately I play Ally (NE Rogue) but I just can't stand Varian. I just want to stab him so bad.
I'm with Jaina on team Thrall :)
Also why must 3.1 drop while I am on holidays? Why?
Apr 14th 2009 3:39AM Cautionary tale:
A member of my old guild gave his account details to his cousin who had helped set up the account for him. Seems his cousin was a bit of a dick and caused some trouble but guildy said he would change his details and all was forgiven.
Fast forward and guildy goes on a rampage ninjaing all loot from a HVoA pug he ran, abusing guild members and other players etc. To stop our guild from being branded a bunch of ninjas GL kicks guildy after trying to talk to him. (He admitted the ninja and said it was because he felt like it).
The next day GL gets an e-mail from the guildy. Apparently he hadn't even logged on the previous day and was wondering what was going on and why his name was mud on our server. Turns out his cousin had accessed his account in a fit of rage and destroyed this guys rep. He is no longer welcome in our guild or most other guilds on the server, no-one who was online that day will group with him, he has basically had to quit wow or play on an alt because he let someone else have his account details.
And that is why I am personally against sharing account details.
