Tips for using the new Shadowmeld wisely {WoW}
Sep 15th 2008 5:47PM It's rubbish. You can't move (like before) but this is an in combat ability.
For PVP it's practically worthless except to detarget you, which anyone decent is going to be able to retarget you immediately anyway. Oh were did that Night Elf go that I was hitting? Of course, he's right where he was before.
And it doesn't allow casting to continue so not a very good agro tool for your priest. Hope nobody needs healing.
To top it off it's basically the human racial they felt wasn't good enough for humans. Why not give it to Night Elfs then.
The old ability had a lot more uses than this does (but then I solo a lot where it is soooo much better).
And to David, it's 3% nature resist. It's 2% I think for the hit penalty. Plus, I can't remember getting back to my corpse a few seconds quicker being particularly useful. (Night Elf corpse zerg?)
Ask a beta tester: Let's get this party started! {WoW}
Jul 28th 2008 2:01PM I was on a PVE server and there were Horde DKs in the instances as well as Alliance. To be honest you aren't actually Horde/Alliance at this point.
Ask a beta tester: Let's get this party started! {WoW}
Jul 28th 2008 1:58PM The DK starting area is instanced. As you progress through the quests you jump to other instances where the placves you've attacked have been captured/destroyed, until you finally finish and end up back in 'normal' azeroth.
Scattered Shots: Beastmastery in Wrath of the Lich King {WoW}
Jul 25th 2008 7:16PM No they don't.
It's been confirmed on the beta forums that 5 is a bug and it only requires 3 points per level. This allows even non-BM to get toptier talents.
And I can say that as my MM Hunter one of the toptier talents with my pet at level 70.

Jul 19th 2008 7:13AM If you look at the picture for this article there's one that is to do with levelling multiple characters so some of them must be across an account rather than per character. (Also, there were others in the alpha shots that had to do with cross faction levelling, levelling each class for instance)
Hybrid Theory: Shaman and the Wrath Alpha {WoW}
Jun 15th 2008 5:38PM Can't seem to reply above so...
The alpha client was available for anyone to download of blizzard's server. By trying to connect, even without using your normal login, you can use name '1' and poassword '1'. Once it tries to conenct you'll download the patches. From the patch mpq files you get the model/talent/spell info etc.
