Apr 3rd 2009 11:06AM I agree that I can push my way through it but it still means that it is known to suck. Older players don't want to do it and push through it fast. How bad must it suck for new players who may not have the stashed gold and existing friends to make it through it? It just seems completely broken and like it should be addressed by Blizzard.
Apr 3rd 2009 9:22AM I just started leveling an alt and I'm currently level 28 (horde). Since I first leveled my main a year ago, the old world has completely emptied. People were scarce a year ago compared to BC content but now they just don't seem to exist. I quested for 3 hours the other night and saw 1 other person. I love my 80 and Northrend, but how are new players supposed to join or existing players level an alt through the old world. It's just plain depressing. The quests are farther apart. You can't powerlevel since most of the quest items can't be bought off the auction house (since no one else is doing those quests). It was hard to run instances a year ago in the old world. I'm guessing it's nearly impossible now.
Dec 17th 2008 10:07AM No way. I'm a "casual" player, meaning I play about once a week for 3 - 6 hours at a time and I'm still level 73, even having QuestHelper and running instances.
Nov 7th 2008 9:07AM I want one
Apr 3rd 2007 8:37AM I need an invite to stop the invasion of the robotic space monkeys. Don't worry that you haven't heard about the invasion. It happens all the time. They don't tell you about these things so that you can continue to live a normal life without living in fear of evils like fangorian snare beasts and venomous handbag snakes (both of which were neutralized last month, so no worries.)
