I haven't mined a SINGLE gem since 2.4 came out.
I've mined about 1,700 adamantite ores (working on my epic fund)
they are just plain gone....

instance 1-- play as much as you want except for one boss monster
when you are in a party that kills that boss- a little box comes up asking your assent,
from then on-- entering gnomer the instance is the 'recovered' gnomer
same portal, different experience....

"22.46-9.9 12.56 critical strikes"? with the low spell crit, (10%) I'll get it 9.9 times out of a hundred, with the high spell crit, I'll get it 22.46 times out of a hundred, the difference being, 22.46-9.9 equals 12.56 more crits per hundred casts..

the line feed after 'bonus' should not be there, but same thing.. with lower crit, I'll crit 10 times out of a hundred, with higher- I'll crit 22 times out of a hundred-- that means all my bonuses for critting (clearcasting etc) will happen 12 times more per hundred casts...
I didn't think of it as whining, I love max crit because it helps my bottom line & proc on crit bonuses so very very much...

Lets say we are talking about the same level 73 and 2k fireballs.
at 100 casts hitting is 200 k damage
but since our spell hit is 96% we only get 192k in damage
if we max our spell hit rating, to 99% we can get the 198k in damage
Now- lets say gearing for that 99% spell hit means we have a low 10% Spell CRIT
10% of the time we will get double damage- 10% of 99% means 9.9 times of 2000 or
a total of 217.8k damage over 100 casts
Now- lets go with 83% spell hit chance (no gear) and 27.05% crit (my own spec)
83*100 hits gives me 166k in base damage
83*27.07 =22.46 extra casts at 2k each 210936 damage....
so, over 100 casts I have lost 6,900 damage, (or 69 DPS a cast) but
I've picked up 22.46-9.9 12.56 critical strikes, along with all the assocated bonuses
I get for each crit-- in my case *arcane* crits return a great deal to me...

Look at any of the historical mythos, or even popular books and movies, and yes- compared to a 'normal' human standard all elves in literature and common culture are a little foppish.. Lord of the rings-- anyone see that? the fact that elves seem different (call it homoish if you must) compared to humans doesn't mean they are gay- it means they are a different species of humanoid- with a different set of standards and 'normal' Blizzard didn't make elves that look 'gay' , they made them look like "ELVES"

Not interesting.. neat shoot sure.. but the fact that the texture is the same is because of openGL mechanics.. try this.. fly Ironforge-Menethil. when flying down the mountain, play with the viewpoint, you can see the birds face from the inside and it looks the same as well...
