May 9th 2007 2:40PM I agree with 6 and all those who agree with him as well. You pasty IT folk gotta admit already that socializing online is no substitute for the real thing...denial is a bitch. Grabbing a beer in real life and drinking in Stormwind with online comrades??? Good lord! If you're under the legal driving age, then ok, you don't have a car and are stuck at home a lot. Anybody with a car or a bus pass better wake up and smell the coffee.
May 8th 2007 12:37PM No offense, but drinking games on a Friday/Saturday night with guildees you've never met in real life is pretty lame.
How bout going out with real friends (if you have one or two) and drinking in a real world setting...i.e. a bar or somebody's house. Give the ol' WoW and internet porn a break. Ask a real girl to dance with you instead of that female NE on top of the mailbox in IF.
May 7th 2007 3:02PM I heard that Emanuelle Lewis, aka Webster plays a dwarf hunter and Donald Rumsfeld is a human warrior.
May 3rd 2007 2:08PM Insert oh-so-common expression here:
"Anybody who pays $15 a month is free to do whatever he/she wants."
Apr 27th 2007 9:36AM At the end of the day, all classes are the same ol' sh*t. You kill stuff over and over, using the same ol' sequence of attacks (for example- PW: Shield, Mind Blast, SW: Pain, Mind Flay (1x or 2x), wand wand wand, spirit tap, repeat). All classes get boring after a while, but that unexplainable attraction to ding 70 keeps us going with mains, alts, boyfriends' toons, etc.
And yes...the "walk a mile in his shoes" thing is absolutely correct. DPS-happy newb mages can learn a lot by rolling a raiding Protection Warrior.
Apr 26th 2007 9:53AM Pre BC I deleted all my characters, with the same thoughts as the guy above...thinking I was quitting. DE'd all my epics and stuff (60 hunter 5/8 T2, 60 priest with a few epics, a couple lvl 30 alts). Gave EVERYTHING I had to a buddy...ie about 35 nexus crystals, a billion shards, 700g, enough herbs to keep any alchemist busy, etc etc.
After realizing "normal" video games on consoles sucked, I came back to WOW a month later.
Apr 25th 2007 9:40AM Please never do a Build Shop featuring warriors again. Who the hell wants to read the multiple walls of text. Booooooooring!
To the warriors: Get each other's email addresses and keep your lame comments to yourselves.
PS...I'm the best warrior in the game and FYI, it's 14.6 inches.
Apr 20th 2007 3:24PM Pretty much what #6 said.
You can call of of your characters "alts" or "mains". Who gives a crap? The only time it matters is when you're in a serious raiding guild where you determine which ONE of your characters will be going to the instances and collecting DKP or whatever system is used.
For all you newbcakes not sure what DKP is, go ahead and call your blood elf pallies whatever you want.
Apr 13th 2007 5:08PM I think you're addicted when you AND your significant other both play, get married in real life and also get married IN-game. I'll admit, I attended a WoWedding and feel sorry for myself and the other guildees for partaking in such a pathetic moment.
Hopefully some of you addicts will actually go out tonight. It's Friday.
Apr 6th 2007 3:19PM Dragonbane-A over on Garona was a good guild till the day members from Dragonbane on a different server came over and the two merged. At that point, the high-and-mighty's from server two pretty much took over and took the fun away from our smaller, tighter knit group. Then there were too many of each class and even if you signed up for a raid using group calendar, the preferred guildees would get the spot regardless of signing up or not.
PS: Shortmidget sucks.
