Alex Afrasiabi discusses new zones and upcoming content on G4 {WoW}

Dec 29th 2010 9:48PM @Eldoron

You'd be surprised how much lore the hardcore raiders I was with knew. During downtime they'd run little trivia games about lore that was outside of just WoW. We'd even discuss some of the lore regarding the fights; not because we required it but people were always curious about why we were doing what we were doing.

Cataclysm Beta: Login screen music {WoW}

Aug 14th 2010 9:30AM As somebody who learned to play the French Horn (not well mind you, but I tried!) I always get a chill when I hear them swell in a song. They typically make already epic songs even more epic sounding.

Aug 13th 2010 10:02PM Maev Shadowsong and Akama, WoWWiki has huge articles on them. They're not faction leaders but they're incredibly important lore characters.

Jul 19th 2010 11:29AM I understand a lot of the concerns people are having with the timeline between the three expansions, but I think this is one of those things that people should probably just shrug off and accept as being wonky. Six years after the release I think that new players could spend a few minutes reading a page or two describing the story while the game installs.

That's just my view on the subject. I've never been one to expect the storyline to just be handed to me on a silver platter so I've always had a hard time seeing why developers/writers/directors/etc. should be required to bring everyone else up to speed.

ESRB issues apology over email leak {WoW}

Jul 13th 2010 5:09PM Sadly.

I mean it's a pretty big screw up but really, we all make stupid mistakes like that. I'd bet it was probably some grunt in PR who did it too, someone who wouldn't deal with something like this every day.

Slap on the wrist, learn from your mistakes, get on with life.

ESRB unintentionally exposes email addresses of people who filed complaints over Blizzard's Real ID system [Updated] {WoW}

Jul 12th 2010 10:03PM Well I'd hope that these people are so concerned about online privacy that they wouldn't do anything nefarious with this information.

But this is the internet, who am I kidding?

Jul 6th 2010 12:36PM I believe it was when you signed up for an account. You agreed to play by Blizzard's rules, and if you don't like it there's the door.

Guest Post: Top 10 opportunities to go AFK in raids {WoW}

Jul 3rd 2010 7:44PM We had something like that, the Raid Leader wanted a Blizzard from DQ and we all camped outside Thorim's chamber while he went out and get it.

Also had the "BRB, moving my laptop to my car" break so that he could play in his car. Couldn't understand why, but it's not my place to question.
