Nov 10th 2008 3:26PM I hereby declare my support for Bear 2008.
Aug 18th 2008 11:18AM Blizzzzzz nerf taburds! They are OP!
Jul 24th 2008 9:09AM Deserve to participate in the style of world pvp on a pvp server? You're a bit full of yourself. I've done both and I could care less who transfers where.
Here is the "style of world pvp" you earn on the elite and vaunted pvp servers:
1) Level 70s who have not had enough motherly love and feel the need to hang around Hillsbrad and one shot level 30s "because they had it done to them."
2) Pvp is rarely one on one. If there is an equal level one on one meeting it's a wave or bow. If there are two of one faction then of course there is pvp.
3) ...or, if one player is with low health after dispatching several mobs, then one on one pvp will ensue by all means.
4) Any player fairly beaten in pvp by an equal level will immediately run crying to a higher level or log his higher level alt to "go show them how it is."
I like pvp servers and the added realism (I play Eve also) but don't think they're super elite or anything, people are just as "cowardly" as those who roll on a pve server.
Oct 10th 2007 5:53AM Listen, if you really wanted to join the PFJ, you'd have to really hate the Romans.
Apr 9th 2007 5:27AM I have a 44 mage now and I gave another mage a portal stone to send me to Shattrath to visit the alchemy trainer and have a look around. And then at 50 I will be back to train to master level. Getting to Thrallmar for master herbalism might be suicidal though :-)
Nobody cared if I was there or not, and it didn't matter much since no quests are available.
Should be like anything else in the game: if you are smart enough to get there, then you have the right to be there. If you want to run a level 10 through Zul Farrak and Uldaman then go right ahead.
