With Last Night's Major Development, How Do You Make a Sopranos Movie? {Cinematical}
May 14th 2007 10:07AM What the hell!!!!!!! I can't believe you could be so stupid as to have such an obvious spoiler in the title! I was planning on watching it tonight...
Doesn't this blog have some kind of guidelines for posting??? You don't spell out movie plots or give away endings, right?
A tour of the new TV Squad {AOL TV}
Apr 11th 2007 5:52PM I don't like this new design at all. As others have already mentioned, it's far too busy! You need to give the content some room to breathe.
More specifically, I think you should drop the "Featured Stories", it's useless in my opinion. Featured stories are good for newpaper websites with many sections to explore. This is a blog though, which I simply read back until I hit a post I've read before.
Survivor heading to Canada? {AOL TV}
Mar 28th 2007 5:16PM I can think of more exciting locations than Canada. Off the top of my head...
The Maldives or Andaman and Nicobar Islands. A Hindu/Indian theme would be fun.
On a Greek Island with a Greek/Mediterranean/Minoan theme
On a Irish or Scottish Island with a Celtic theme.
Somewhere in Scandinavia, with a Viking theme.
Is Eddie Izzard's American accent getting better? {AOL TV}
Mar 20th 2007 2:06PM One of the worst shows for fake american accents is Torchwood and the new Doctor Who. I guess the domestic audiences don't notice, but it's jarring, even to a Canadian like myself.
That being said, actors like Hugh Laurie and Minnie driver have the accent nailed.
The Five: What Annie is thankful for {AOL TV}
Nov 23rd 2006 6:03PM When is the green wing christmas special scheduled to air?
Dexter: Shrink Wrap {AOL TV}
Nov 21st 2006 4:05PM I kind of saw the twist at the end coming, but my thought was - if the doctor is the ITK, then the show is making it like 1 in 4 people in Miami are serial killer. I understand why they need to do this of course, but just like nip/tuck, it's kind of disappointing to see the killer revealed.
How did The Nine go downhill so quickly? {AOL TV}
Nov 8th 2006 5:59PM I lost interest after the first episode. My problem with the show is that we are looking back at what happened. For me that removed any tension, and the reason to watch. We knew who died and how the stand off ended. Sure, we knew one of them was traumatized, and Scott Wolf did something bad, but....yawnnnnnn.
TV's one hit wonders {AOL TV}
Nov 5th 2006 3:06PM I'd really like to see a DVD release of Robbery Homicide Division.
David Tennant may not return for Dr. Who {AOL TV}
Oct 15th 2006 4:16PM Is that Toblerone comment a reference to Alan Partridge?
I haven't David Tennant's doctor yet, so I don't know if this is good or bad news. Will the show just continue with a new doctor if he leaves?
Life On Mars to end after second series {AOL TV}
Oct 11th 2006 1:52PM I much prefer the UK system. I think it produces the most creative results. Instead of networks using shows as nothing more than an advertising delivery vehicle in the later years of a show's life, shows have a definite run and the creators are freed up to create other interesting projects.
Just think of all the time wasted on the US system - our time, the writer's time, the crew's time.
A good example of this is Ricky Gervais. I much prefer the two seasons of "The Office", and now have "Extras". Now, rather than have "Extras" stretched, he is moving on to other projects.
