AFK a sec guys -- wife aggro {WoW}

May 16th 2007 11:04AM The feminist movement comes to WOW.

We should have a bra burning in ORG "there is plenty of bonfires to go around people dont crowd"

Whats next Greenpeace is going to setup in the barrens and protest the mass slaughter of the all the fluffy little critters. "it was self defense officer that lion aggroed me"

Or maybe we will get some political activists in Org who think Thralls foreign policy is to pro war. Come on people its a game and its a joke learn to mellow out.

To the poster who said if they dont play games why are you going out with them, THEY ARE HOT, men are far more shallow than women, proven fact.

Tier gear and you {WoW}

May 8th 2007 11:25AM As a whole with the revamps to Tier gear, it now seems that there is some progression in gear with regard to basic stats.

That being said the Shaman Tier 5, 4 peice set bonus is pritty much awesome for any raid healing shaman at the moment. Where as the 4 piece bonus on T6 is basically crap, no decent healing shaman ever uses lesser healing wave in PvE.

It seems to me that who ever did the T5 gear actually raids or spoke to people who raid and set the gear up accordingly. Tier 4 and Tier 6 shaman healing set bonuses are useless. 24 seconds off NS anyone.

May 7th 2007 4:44PM I call setup, there arent any pizza box's.

Any real gamer has at least one pizza box somewhere around there desk.

My bro used a Domino's pizza box for about a month as a mouse pad, until my mum came round and "cleaned up".

That is so true, or clearcasting procs right as a mob dies and you are low on mana and even if the first spell is free you wont have the mana to finish it off.

Nothing worse than sitting to drink with clearcasting on TT

Ask WoW Insider: Heroic instance difficulty {WoW}

Apr 27th 2007 5:50PM I found shadow labs to be a fairly easy Heroic TBH, but our group make up is somewhat interesting and allows for alot of fast dps.

Shaman (ele)
Shaman (Resto) - me

Two blood lusts and 2 fire elementals in a min and twenty seconds of full out dps.

Shattered halls with that group sucked the big one. We did up to the first boss to get attuned to summon Nightbane and then left. Trash was just overwhelming and the Reavers just hunted me down and two shotted me the entire fight.

I havent even tried Arc yet because I dont want to even think about the two mobs with mindflay at the same time with Heroic Damage.

I think I will start doing Heroics again once they have nerfed them in 2.1, currently for most of the harder instances if you dont take the perfect group it is going to be a long and painful journey. There needs to be a lot more wiggle room so that groups dont spend half the night wiping on trash pulls.

That being said we have been finding that often Trash pulls in SSC are actually more difficult/painful than the bosses after them. Two and a half hours clearing trash for the first time leaves a somewhat bitter taste in your mouth. Would have made me cry had they still been on the 45min respawn timer.

Behold, the power of moonkin {WoW}

Apr 27th 2007 12:57PM We have 2 Birds in our SSC raid, one that is very deep balance and the other is healing/balance.

The bird that is deep balance usualy comes in about 6-7 on the DPS meter and that is where we want him. If your locks and shadow priests arent above a bird you need to get new locks and shadow priests. He is there to dps but he brings so much more to the raid, innervate, combat res and his aura to name a few.

No one wants to take 3 healing druids to a raid they arent that good, they have a purpose but you dont need 3 to fill that healing role.

We usually take 3 druids, Our main OT is a druid, balance druid and split healign balance druid. Having 3 combat reses can make or break some boss attempts where dps or healing can be touchy and you lose someone in th einitial minute or two.

Innervates on long mana intensive fights is like a ray of hope to an OOM priest.

More crit is always good.

Why is the Horde suddenly so good at PVE? {WoW}

Apr 27th 2007 12:37PM Okay, everyone that is argueing about Children/young people affecting raiding need to give it up. 95% of people under the age of 18 have some form of parental control over them. Thus Dad/Mum doesnt like little timmy staying up till midnight ever night of the week raiding SSC. Im from a end game raiding guild and we ask your age and raid availability when you apply, sure you can lie but when you have to leave at 10:30 server time every night we catch on fairly quickly.

Young/immature people do not affect end game raiding significantly becase hardcore endgame guilds dont invite them becasue we dont want to replace people half way thru a trash clear or learning a boss. There is also the maturity thing but the majority of younger players are vetted from high end raiding due to parental controls on there time.

I can tell you right now without any doubt, PALADINS ARE FUCKING AMAZING and are a significant factor in Horde WTF owning on the progression charts. Im a shaman and we take 3 pallies 3 shamans and 2 healing priests, anyone who thinks shamans cant heal as good as priests or pallies is an idiot and needs to get a clue. With Pali buffs and shaman mana spring (talented and T4 set bonus) you can get 90 mp5 in combat, that is crazy. The two classes compliment each other, the thing is for a long time Horde has know how awesome Pallies are so when BC came out every major raiding guild made sure they had 2-4.

The same cannot be said for alliance wanting shamans, but shamans are just as effective at buffing a raid if you take 2-3 and they know what they are doing. So alliance in many/some cases arent taking shamans to their raids and are thus missing out on a class that can bring alot to a raid if played/specced correctly.

A healing shaman gives 25% of your mana back every 5 min with one totem and with a talent/gear affected mana spring totem is more effective in group at regening mana than a palli buff. Add pallies and shamans together and its pawnage time.

In most BC raid encounters there is some to heal teh raid which is takign indirect damage. You know wha tthe most effective heal to do this is for mana and actual healing done for mana spent. CHAIN HEAL.

Welcome to the revolution.
