Mar 22nd 2012 11:45AM Is the new glyph of death coil currently obtainable in the game, and if so does it work on yourself, or only allies?
(It let's you use death coil on allies to give them an absorb shield. DK healers?)

Mar 18th 2012 11:42AM I'd be surprised, but overjoyed if they introduced different body types. My paladin should have more muscle mass and less bust than she has now-- she runs around in plate armor all day! My draenei monk probably shouldn't be as bulky as the default draenei male model-- it works for plate classes, but is a little odd for the casters and quick fighters. And so on.
I don't think the silhouette thing will be much of an issue-- Pandaren aside, the only races you -could- confuse are maybe humans and blood elves, and those are pretty hard to distinguish while zoomed out, anyway. The rest have very different body types and different stances. I mean, are you -really- going to be confused because that orc actually is built like a spellcaster and not a weightlifter?
Mar 18th 2012 11:36AM I honestly don't think that the smaller MMOs will -kill- WoW. I mean, EVERQUEST is still getting new expansions, and its heyday ended over half a decade ago. Competition might take away some of the players, but WoW's not dying anytime soon.
I'd honestly be thrilled, personally, if there were another strong MMO or three, especially if they were in slightly different niches-- I actually had very strong hopes for the Star Wars MMO for just this reason, despite my lack of personal interest in the game or setting. Competition makes everyone stronger, and forces everyone involved to be better. I think that if that happened-- even if the playerbase were a little smaller because of it-- WoW would actually be a better game in the end.

Mar 14th 2012 12:04PM The DK ranged attacks do generate runic/grant a chance to regenerate a rune (depending on the attack) so that's covered.
Mar 13th 2012 2:22PM I also had the combination of storyline and gameplay. However, my storyline isn't quite the lawful evil sort-- in fact, just the opposite.
A year and a half ago, I decided I wanted to reroll on an RP server. In order to get gold and other resources for when I would reroll my main, I made a death knight, based on a minor character from a story I was writing. My plan was to level to 80, and then restart the main, with the DK funding her.
What happened was I really, really enjoyed my DK. The playstyle was fun, and he was a compelling character to play. He's a draenei, and he's actively trying to live up to the expectations of his people, find a cure to the Endless Hunger, and find redemption. It's actually a fun thing to play out. So... he ended up as my main.
Mar 12th 2012 5:36PM Maxing out First Aid is actually very nice while leveling; there are several points where a bandage can heal more HP than an heirloomed character of that level has; embersilk bandages at 65 are particularly absurd and amazing. (They heal 17k; most characters have 4-6k HP.)
Mar 12th 2012 12:26PM @Zach-- Draenei have had monks in lore since Burning Crusade was released. Next time you run Auchenai Crypts, pay attention to the mobs; there are Auchenai Monks that use physical unarmed atttacks.
