Dec 6th 2011 3:21PM LFR Question: Has anyone had luck queuing up in LFR at times outside of normal "WoW Prime Time?"
I work nights, which has always excluded me from being part of a Raid team. If LFR is putting groups together in the mornings/afternoons/wee hours of the morning then it would be worth gearing up one of my toons to get into it. (As it stands, I've done one or two Heroics in Cata. I couldn't even queue up for the Troll Heroics right now.)
Nov 2nd 2011 1:03PM Ok, but if it's at the Safe House you simply Can Not Tell Anyone the Password! Half the fun of the Safe House is watching people make fools of themselves to get in!
Oct 25th 2011 2:38PM If Blizzard thought they could keep us entertained on WoW's own merits for the next 12 months, there would be no need to offer up the special deal.
Oct 25th 2011 2:24PM Time will tell, I suppose.
Oct 25th 2011 2:14PM Tin foil hat? I'm just trying to make sense of it. They are giving up potentially millions of D3 sales to lock people into 12 months of subscription fees. If they thought they had 12 months of compelling WoW content to play, there's no need to offer the special deal. As far as a June launch for the xpac, that would mean open beta in January. (Lich King and Cata both had 5 to 6 month beta periods.) I wasn't at Blizzcon, but did you get the impression they were 4 months away from Beta?
Oct 25th 2011 12:31PM I would agree with you, Mat, except for that "too good to be true" annual pass deal. Blizzard is locking people in because they know 4.3 is going to get stale long before they are ready to release MoP. By giving everyone a free copy of D3 and access to the Beta, they don't have to spend any development time on a filler patch. "Well, I've beaten Deathwing with a Raid Finder group. Guess I'll play D3 until the beta is ready."
Oct 25th 2011 12:18PM Never mind Staves, I would like to see 2 hand Maces make a comeback for Bears. That way I can "mog" a current weapon to look like my beloved Earthwarden.
Oct 12th 2011 11:53AM I would guess that all those hidden quests were found by people going after the Loremaster and Seeker titles during Wrath. That's when I started to notice add ons and guides devoted to finding every quest in every zone.
Oct 10th 2011 12:19PM And yes, using a glove tinker like Synapse Springs will put your trinkets on short CD.
Oct 8th 2011 10:17AM You can always tell when the guys at Wow Insider are bored with raid content. That's when Phat Loot Friday starts to talk about Pets and other Vanity items.
Not that I'm complaining, I am an avid collector of such items.
