Sep 24th 2007 7:34PM Well, treating PAL nicely hasn't ever been a policy strictly enforced by any of the major gaming companies.
But i agree, worldwide releases are the way of the future. 10-15 years ago a worldwide release schedule would have been impossible/cost prohibitive. But now you can stick stuff on a plane and have it there the next day on the cheap.
But i always forget that companies don't want what's best for me, they want what is best for them.
Suprised they didn't go pink with a kirby face super imposed. Though i suppose this is a much classier way to do it.
Sep 20th 2007 2:12AM Doesn't this kinda defeat the purpose?
Isn't the reason you use a bluetooth headset to be hands free? What's the point of holding something else to your ear?
Thankfully, you'll still get the other major feature of bluetooth headsets with this though. You'll still look like a doochbag while using it.
Sep 19th 2007 12:07PM Now i wonder is there an easy way to dress like a ninja without being a rogue? Or Savory Deviate Delight.
That i'd like to know about.
Cos ninjas > pirates.
Sep 3rd 2007 2:30PM WoW really does have something that other games don't. While i don't play anymore, I always check in with what's happening in this world of ours.
It gets a bad rap sometimes, but everyone i know who plays or has played have gotten something positive out of it.
It is what you make it ultimately.
Sep 3rd 2007 2:22PM Yay. Australia gets Phoenix Wright 2. Finally. It sucks to be us sometimes.
Gotta love import games. Makes gaming worthwhile in aussieland.
Aug 17th 2007 12:09PM I like the style direction they've gone for in this iteration of the sims. Hopefully, regardless of what it looks like, it's fun and engaging like the PC versions of Sims have been.
Aug 17th 2007 12:01PM I like the graphical style these remakes have. It's good to be able to play these games, in a new fresh way. Even if they aren't all that different, and just look pretty now.
Aug 17th 2007 11:20AM @Knary50
I would not be suprised if something like that happened.
We Australians get shafted more often than the europeans, and everyone knows how badly they get screwed over by they the big 3.
Funny story actually, friend of mine bought a Forza 2 Bundle pack with premium 360 and had it RROD on him within 2 and half weeks. Bit of digging through our local retailer lead us to discover Microsoft were repackaging refurbs and bundling them. A huge proportion of the bundles were coming back and some of them were even dirty when they were unpacked.
SO if we do get the old stuff when the rest of the world is on second gen, colour me unsuprised.

If the Lego Star Wars franchise is anything to go by, this game will be on every console know to man.
PLAY LEGO INDIANA JONES NOW ON XBOX 360, PLAYSTATION 3, NINTENDO DS, PSP AND THE LITTLE SCREEN ON YOUR MICROWAVE....
So I wouldn't fret right now.
Jun 14th 2007 10:05AM As one of those lucky (read spoilt) gamers who tends to have too much money on their hands, i picked up both a PSP and a DS.
Now technically PSP is way ahead, but when has fancy graphics a good game made?
The DS is what comes with me when i go away. Its such a popular item in my house i had to pick up a second one so i could game without my brothers hogging the thing.
Games are always what sells a console. Sony need to remember that, and have peripheral media features as what they should be, peripheral.
PSP and PS3 suffer the same ideology.
Well back to FF III for me... :P
