Sep 2nd 2009 11:09AM I'm not sure where everyone got the idea that this downtime was to fix the door boss? Last I had heard was that issue was set to be fixed as part of the cross server pug groups, since they were going to be taking instance servers out of the World Clusters and setting them up by themselves. From a technical stand point, with the number of people able to raid and run heroics now I really can't seem them being able to fix this issue until they do as they plan to.
All MMOs have issues. Having to wait (at least in my case) 5 or 10 minutes to get into an instance isn't really that bad.
Dec 14th 2007 2:01PM I would like the Horde version.
Great contest guys!
Nov 14th 2007 11:00AM Ummm... I've been running vista since launch and Blizzard should have set your launcher to auto run as admin. The other option (the one I suggest for PC vets) is to disable UAC as its just a giant pain in the "butt" when it comes to running or installing anything.
Grats though on posting 8 month old news :P

Most of the newer PvP servers are primarily Alliance.
I've played on a couple where the horde is severly gimped in numbers, and I'm talking like 80/20 splits for the alliance
Aug 24th 2007 2:41PM I had no problems with it what so ever...
Its actually easier than the lock quest that some of the other races have. Plus those ghosts are only a little higher level then you are when you do the VW quest anyways.
Aug 1st 2007 9:29AM As a second note I think that content maybe a suitable reason to leave wow. Personally I think that Northrend appears to be a much more diverse area as far as possible content and story is concerned. If Maelstorm is the next exp I would probably skip over it until something better is released

If you're going to leave wow because of an impending level cap raise you should give up on mmos all together. In the current state a lvl 70 has no real goals to strive for in most cases. The level cap should be raised with a new exp, otherwise there will be no sense of accomplishment completing the new tasks... it will just be about the money.
May 31st 2007 10:04AM My top things are;
1) 80 as new cap
3) more 10 man raids
4) Tuskarrs for Alliance (Home in Northrend, Offset to Tauren), Goblins for Horde (offset to gnome)

I don't see you submitting anything worth while. If you don't like what someone writes do keep reading it. Don't waste time and space bitching and moaning when no one gives a rats ass what your opinion is.
On a side note I find these posts to be interesting, as a newer player I find it helpful to read about other peoples screw ups.
Apr 30th 2007 4:25PM I think everyone is blowing the Horde vs Alliance thing out of proportion. As of me writing this, 6 of the top 10 are horde, but also 6 of the top 10 are EU guilds. I think some guilds are more devoted than others to getting end game gear. It really has nothing to do with the number of "noobs" playing on either side. I'm a noob, but I'm 26, and I have an alliance and a horde character. I say that we should focus more on the "cool" aspect of the guilds see things for the first time rather than bickering amongst one another about who has more kids playing.
I think the "instance" only items are a good idea, they would go along way in helping the more casual player see at least some of the end game content. I think blizzard should put those type of items there for raiding parties to use, then make heroic versions of the raid where they aren't available and the drops are better.
Sorry for being long winded.
