Jan 13th 2008 5:42PM Seems simple to me. Just dramatically reduce the honor gain for people on the bottom 3 for damage/healing done. That way even if you get 100% participation people are still competing to stay out of the bottom 3.

I don't see that changing devastate to work with DW actually invalidates it as a tanking method.
The problem as I see it is that it's a pretty crappy 41pt tanking talent to begin with. You're right in that warriors need better scaling threat generation abilities. At 65 I seem to be holding aggro just fine but I hear things aren't so good at 70. A full prot warrior should never have any problem holding aggro if playing properly.

Because prot warriors need to grind too? Think about the situation with Druid's. You get bear form for tanking and can switch to cat for dps. This would have been like that except that you use shield for tanking and DW for DPS rather than switching forms.
Alas it's not to be. What I don't understand is why they can't fix the problem rather than revert entirely?
