Nov 28th 2008 12:39PM Geists. The little buggers seem to come out of nowhere since they're so small, and I've had a few experiences in the Ruby Dragonshrine where I get so close to mounting only to have one of those little things, crawl in from nowhere and attack with their irritating sound effects.
Nov 13th 2008 3:51PM DO WANT!
Nov 11th 2008 6:58PM Not as "OMG WANT" as the other contests, but, still, count me in!
Nov 11th 2008 3:02PM Yep, there are dungeon dailies available in Dalaran, in normal difficulty for level 80 5-man dungeons and heroic difficulty for all 5-man dungeons. The quest givers can be found just outside the Violet Hold, standing in front of portals that preview your daily prey.
Nov 11th 2008 12:22PM Another reason why skinners would want to start in Borean Tundra is a special leather type obtained fairly early in the area there (especially for Horde players). Nerubian Chitin (http://www.wowhead.com/?item=38558) can be skinned from the Nerubians found in Borean Tundra, and Warsong Hold happens to be surrounded by a army of them as soon as you get off the zeppelin. Why would you want this type of leather? Leatherworkers will probably want a lot of it, as it is useful in several recipes, and required in mass quantities for those. For example:
Nov 11th 2008 10:22AM Oooh, that would keep you nice and warm on those cold Northrend nights. I'm in!
Nov 10th 2008 10:37AM RAWR!
Nov 9th 2008 10:54PM OK, looks like the model viewer is back so here's one example of the excess model recycling: Bramblethorn Greatstaff(http://www.wowhead.com/?item=35807) has the same model as 21 other new items.
Nov 9th 2008 10:39PM Not exactly; unless a real mount implemented later on, the mount you're speaking of was part of a quest in the Death Knight starting zone. This "mount" was more of a siege engine, and was used to breath fire upon Scarlet Crusade forces as well as occasionally eating one to fuel the beast.
Nov 9th 2008 10:31PM I agree with Drall; the opening area gear does seem to be all the same. While the clown-like mishmash of gear in early Outland was a little annoying, it faded early into the next few areas and crafted armor added more new but uniform sets of gear. However, the models for quest gear well into 75 seemed all the same, with most crafted gear following in suit. I got rather sick of seeking out new feral staffs for my druid, only to find that the staff I quested for used the exact same model in a slightly different shade. (Unfortunately, when I tried to go to WoWHead for proof, it seems the model viewer and "Same Model As" function were currently down after bugs in the animated Java version of them. For now, take my word for it.)
