Breakfast Topic: The best city for shopping {WoW}

Oct 16th 2009 10:44AM Well, as a renegade mage-gineer, I've no need for portals or FPs. Literally, the only times I've ridden a boat was when I went to Northrend, and... maybe the first time I went to Booty Bay?

To me, IF has everything I need. It's got a good population, plenty of anvils, and the AH, bank and mailbox are all lined up, just a Blink away! But this is all related to Engineering and my affinity for the Auctions- Mama's gotta get paid!

For everything else... fancy pastries, pets, accesories and pimped out bling- Dalaran is where it's at.

Around Azeroth: Dream in blue {WoW}

Oct 16th 2009 10:31AM As someone who lives in Milwaukee... Wisconsin weather is exactly like Northrend. Sometimes we get some great, humid, tropical-like weather from Sholozar, but in an instant we can be Dragonblight. Don't forget a splash of Lambeau Field's Borean Tundra. /wink

Time is Money: Fishing for angels {WoW}

Sep 30th 2009 5:34PM Isn't the point of this website to inform and educate people who want to learn more about the game? (You have now lost THE GAME). Even if it's renegade mongers like myself... it's nice to learn new things, especially when saving for a Mekgineer's Chopper. Glad I could help and have I got a deal for you!

Sep 30th 2009 5:10PM Nice fishin tips. As a gold monger and a fish monger, I especially appreciate this. I may be a Draenei, but my mother says I'm half Goblin.

Sep 24th 2009 12:12PM I am currently posting. After I write this that will fail to be true.

Insider Trader: Patch 3.2.2 madness {WoW}

Sep 18th 2009 3:54PM Disappointed in this one, definitely. I liked being asked "what is that thing on your head," and then saying "check this out!"

Us engineers are fashionistas and deserve our trademark looks.

Drama Mamas: What are you here for? {WoW}

Sep 18th 2009 2:03PM That sounds a lot like my family. I have a few relatives that all play wow. We have a good mix of people. Some just do it for fun, some are hard core... and some are level 80 warlocks that the raid is counting on to summon everyone, but who go AFK unexpectedly. It's all in good fun, and I think the solution is to know what to expect. Some people like JerryNoah and Kennys (gotta give my shout outs!) are just known as "that guy." Sometimes you just need a body on the floor to get things rolling, you gotta expect these things with these types of players.

These are the people that trudged along without really taking the time to learn the nuances (or sometimes the basic mechanics) of the game, but managed to get a high level through PUGs and forcing people to help. Just another type of player, I guess.

Blizzard is tracking 180,000 bugs in WoW {WoW}

Sep 17th 2009 1:49PM In the immortal words of Beavis, "that's not that much, really."

There are tons of players and infinite interactions and game mechanics. These things happen. How many of these bugs are actually effecting game play?

The instance problem was terrible... and last night our guild bank disappeared. I wonder if there's a way to rank the severity of bugs. I would like to see how many severe bugs there are. We don't care if a tree branch goes into a mountain, or if the head of my Swift Zhevra disappears into a brick wall.
