Jul 27th 2008 2:46PM Don't rejoice just yet- remember it was mostly the armor from early outland that looked hideous. These weapons look very cool but the outland weapons weren't so bad either.
Jun 24th 2008 1:19PM I bet nirikun plays WoW wearing a business suit and tie. Serious business.
I admit that most of the speculation is just crazed fans (putting a random photoshop filter on it and seeing diablo's face or arthas' ear is pretty rediculous) but it's fun to get caught up in the hype. The inclusion of the Hel rune makes an exciting connection to the diablo series, and people have been waiting for diablo news for a long time.
Jun 7th 2008 1:49AM This has the potential of being awesome, but in order to do that, it has to learn from the mistakes of rune factory DS:
1. Have more character development and special cutscenes like in HM64.
2. Have lots of festivals with interesting themes (rather than the "everybody is outside and gains extra friend points" holidays) to keep you interested in playing another week.
3. Make a lot of goals to reach in the game, people shouldn't have to make arbitrary goals like maxing out the money to 99999 just to stay interested.
May 1st 2008 12:24PM I think in current diablo lore there's still 2 lesser evils that haven't been encountered yet- Belial and Azmodan, lord of lies and lord of sins. So there's two act bosses right there.
In the end I'm okay with killing diablo again. I mean, in the last game we destroyed the worldstone, so that probably brought all the bad guys back to life or something.
Feb 9th 2008 5:37PM Priests can also do aerial combat if they're flying low to the ground:
Dismount, shadow word pain, shadow word death, levitate, renew (to cancel out SWD damage), mount, repeat.
Aerial PvP happens so infrequently that it's not really worth crying about. Besides, it's easy to avoid if you know where to fly to.
Sep 23rd 2007 9:01PM I would make a huge fat female nelf and name it "cosplay".
As much as people will cry that an idea like this is a waste of blizzard's attention, I think it's a good idea to increase character customization. We already have enough instances to keep us (the majority of the wow population) entertained until WotLK. One thing I'd love to see them steal from guild wars is color dyes. Not only would it serve as a goldsink, which blizzard seems to like, but it would also be a great way to make your character not look like they got their mismatched clothes from the 70's.
Sep 22nd 2007 4:01PM @7 Feign death already has a use in PvP- if a mage is a-chargin his pyroblast, feign death at the 2 second mark and he loses his target. There are other abilities from other classes that literally do nothing in PvP (fade, taunt, etc) that would be looked at before feign death.
Sep 1st 2007 2:35PM Reset the world events like AQ on low pop servers. Then all the people that QQ about new servers so they can experience "server firsts" will roll on those servers.
Aug 29th 2007 12:01PM For those of you who think frost shock is a decent enemy-chasing spell in PvP, you've probably never played a pvp shaman before. Frost shock is dispellable and it only takes the enemy one hamstring/stun/fear to get ahead of you.
And tremor totem? With my experiences in arena it only works half the time (and often after 3-5 seconds)
Aug 26th 2007 9:00PM @2
According to wow census, almost all of the pvp servers have drastically more horde, except for the really old ones.
