Dec 12th 2011 8:13AM Can I just confirm that you can have multiple buffs sequentially? Everything I've read so far addresses who gets what buff, with each class arguing their case for the blue phase - and it seems to assume that once you have a buff - e.g. red, you cannot get a different one - this is certainly explicitly stated at icy-veins for example.
If this is not the case - i.e. clicking a second crystal changes your buff, then the obvious HP plan is red buff until blue spawns, then blue for HR spam.
Is there a limit on the number of healers who can click on a crystal?
Also, does Righteous Fury still trigger Last Defender of Azeroth for non tanks as it did on the ptr?
I've done this fight on the LFR, and clicked red, as it was the only one with which I could interact - too many people on top of anything else (I'd been waiting for blue initially). I read the discussion about using the interact-with-target keybind to access covered npcs, and a similar thread on mmo-champion about interacting with lightwell. Does anyone know if it is possible to bind an interaction (I know that several keys might be required) to the different crystals?
Sep 30th 2011 11:38AM Now that holy Radiance is a direct cast spell, targeted at a player, does the heal on the targeted player transfer via beacon or Protector of the innocent? I'd be astonished if the aoe effect did, but by casting HR we're effectively loosing the beacon transfer for that amount of mana, which has always been part of the Holy Paladin's overall healing.
Significant concentration on raid healing by a holy pally might end up causing a drop in their overall healing if it does not transfer via beacon.
Jul 30th 2011 3:01AM This had been hotfixed by the 14th July - it's just that the tooltip wasn;t updated. I noticed the discrepancy between wowhead and mmo-champion's databases, and raised a ticket. Got this reply on the 14th:
"I have looked into this and I have found that the Masterwork Elementium Deathblade now grants a Maximum Damage of 2769. If you see a different value ingame, you might need to refresh your game cache. Please try deleting the Cache folder that you can find inside your WoW installation folder, then you should be able to see the stats as normal :)"
It has certainly affected sales - there are 3-4 currently on my server from the same vendors that are steadily coming down in price rather than selling. Fortunately I noticed before dropping (at the time) 18k gold on it.
I understand why they did it, the issue is more that they "forgot" to let anyone know...
Jun 15th 2011 8:58AM Interesting article - I was already stockpiling volatiles and truegold - within 12hrs of your article being published the price for each volatile increased by around 60% and has stayed there since!
Jan 28th 2011 10:03AM Vuhdo for healing
I see pages of writeups for grid showing how to try to get it to do things vuhdo does out of the box.
It has clique style casting built in, as well as target of target automatically assigned.
I usually play on a laptop sans mouse, so only have the 2 buttons, but have 17 spells bound to those 2 buttons, just by using shift, crtl and alt.
