Nov 29th 2009 2:20PM No I am sure of this. It is why you will see sometimes 9-10ks then theres 12-14ks. Pay attention to your lava burst numbers you will see 2 ranges with a small dead zone in between.

Nov 28th 2009 9:39PM What I think so many people fail to realize is that Lava Burst DOES in fact benefit from crit. Although flame shock guarentees the crit, the game still does a roll to see if it actually crit or not. The way this effects dps is if the game rolls it as a crit it then gains the "increased critical damage" from talents. If it rolls as a non crit it does not use those talents and it will be significantly lower.
