Mar 15th 2011 4:28PM But Pengins can't fly.....PENGUINS CAN'T FLY!!!!
Aug 15th 2009 2:26AM He's not saying they don't have the capability. What he's saying is they WOULDN'T do it. Fundamentally speaking it goes against EVERYTHING the Night Elves believe. The Night Elves live, in some ways, under a Theocracy. One of the CORE BELIEFS of the Night Elves is to shun arcane and become one with nature. To allow Mages would be the same as, say, the pope removing one of the 10 Commandments, or allowing Hindu's to eat cow (inb4 Tauren paladin/priest, Holy Cow joke). It wouldn't happen. The last time the Night Elves allowed Mages to train, the Legion damn near took Azeroth, which was blown into a series of continents instead of the singular land mass it used to be. Given their life span it's fair to assume there are quite a few Night Elves that are still alive from that time. I promise you they'd have "issues" with NE Mages.
Aug 5th 2009 11:11AM I'm telling you Sam Merlotte is a Druid! And based of the last episode he's at LEAST 70 'cause he has flight form (well....60 after the new patch >.
Jul 17th 2009 9:17AM I always thought that you should your two professions AND a gathering profession. We have certain professions that are in many ways intended to work with a specific gathering profession. An example is that Alchemy and Inscription are both made easier (and no doubt cheaper) by herbalists. Likewise Blacksmiths, Jewelcrafters, and Engineers benefit from having mining. I just feel that at this stage in the game, having a free gathering profession would allow more people to enjoy a wider variety of professions. It makes sense that an Engineer would know a thing or two about blacksmithing (how else could you forge those precious copper tubes?) or that someone who's an expert at mixing inks would know how to make a potion or elixir.
As far as NEW professions go, I kinda wanted to see woodworking. They've already created a mechanic for acquiring wood with the Tournament dalies, so there's your new gathering profession as well. This way you learn to make staves, wands, maces, and various other goodies that could benefit the wow community.
TLDR: Give us 2 professions AND a gathering profession, and add Woodworking and lumberjacking as new professions.
Jul 8th 2009 10:37PM "...you DO know that Guild Wars has ZERO monthly fees, and NO Store and they run their game servers, provide constant updates and have produced several expansions?"
And if you ever played it, you'd know the difference between a free game, and a GOOD game. I'm not saying WoW is the end all be all of MMO's but I make it a point to try out most MMO's and Guild Wars is pathetic in comparison to Monthly Fee MMO's.
Jan 26th 2009 1:31PM God I thought that my school was the only one forced us to dance they Achy-Breaky in Elementary. I guess it's a southern thing?
Oct 5th 2008 12:22PM yeah wtf ever, I'm a tank, last thing in the world I want is to be able to FEEL what he goes through. I mean, my Warrior's only purpose is to get his ass kicked, and he does, better than most classes, but I'll be damned if I put myself through that lol.
May 24th 2008 2:55PM I'm not sold on this yet. I own a LAN center and I absolutely love/hate Rock Band. I mean it's great for business, the game played so much it hardly leaves the tray, but I, like everyone else, have the same problem with the drums breaking. We only have 2 Xbox's but we own 5 drum sets so we can rotate them out while we RMA the broken ones. This is a great concept, no doubt, but all I see is more drum sets I'm going to have to replace. I can't NOT buy this game, say what you will, but customers WILL ask for it. I just hope that since Red Octane, being the better hardware company, makes a more solid product. I mean wouldn't it be cool if Harmonix and Red Octane got together to make a game?
....kidding don't hate-mail me.
Apr 23rd 2007 12:22AM You know...I grew up with the original NES, and I seem to remember (God knows why) spending a stupid amount of time "Training" on Burger Time. Yet I don't work at a McDonalds, nor a Burger King or Wendy's even. I "trained" on Exitebike but I'll be damned if I go near a motorcycle, or try any racing stunts. I "trained" on Bubble Bobble yet I have never droped Acid. Most imporantly, I "trained the hell out of the Mega Man series and yet my arm can't shoot nuffin and my dog can't turn into shit. The day that happens, I'll proudly walk side by side with Jack Thompson and show that "Training" truely does effect us in real life.
