Aug 29th 2009 10:39AM Unfortunately, yes. Yes to all of this.
Aug 29th 2009 10:36AM The desert game play they showed is fully detailed. They made a big point of talking about the contrast between the bright desert and the dark dungeon they had available, but that's a crock. The dungeon wasn't very dark at all and you could easily see enemies coming from very far away.
Aug 27th 2009 1:24PM I was at the panel. What they said was that first person mouse look would be available in the final editor, but that it wasn't prepared for this demonstration.
Aug 27th 2009 1:21PM Both Arcturus and Raynor are back. The VA for Zeratul could not return on account of being dead.
Jun 18th 2009 5:51PM PvPing, farming, and doing dailies are not necessary to raid. Raid bosses drop gold, and even with hundreds of gold in repairs per night I actively gain gold from raiding. I only log in to raid 3 hours, 3 nights a week for a total of 9 hours of raiding. Raiders are not necessarily hardcore, and can easily play -less- than casual players.
It will take a good solid 7-8 hours of heroics to get a single piece of Tier 8. You get a lot more gear than that raiding Ulduar. The emblem gear is also really, really bad. The gear inside Ulduar is far better itemized.
These changes to emblems don't affect casuals at all. This gets hardcore players and raiders back into heroics and eliminates the massive gap between the haves and have nots. This allows -new- hardcore players and -new- raiders to get into the endgame.
May 7th 2009 11:15PM "but this one ... it actually looks good."
Statements like these might be more interesting if you didn't use them to describe every single licensed movie game that comes along.
Feb 3rd 2009 1:13PM "...what would have made it far more creepy is if things happened that you werent expecting..."
You mean like the first time you play the game?
Also you grossly contradicted yourself in your second post. You state that you don't want spooky moments punctuated by some absurdity, but then you go and complain that FEAR 2 is the exact opposite of that. Which is it?
In any case, you appear to be willing to write huge posts about the game. You clearly have a lot of affection for it, which makes your confusingly self-deluding complaints all the more strange.
Jan 22nd 2009 4:16PM Eventually there are bloody corridor scenes in which coming in contact with her will kill you.
At the very end of the game she becomes an unimaginably enormous threat, which continues into this sequel.
Jan 19th 2009 10:53AM A friend of mine pointed out to me that none of the characters ever changes facial expressions. I could never play the game again.
Dec 28th 2008 5:20PM I take it you didn't play the game from start to finish, then?
