Forum post of the day: Statements that make you leave a group {WoW}
Apr 23rd 2007 1:32PM @ 76 Priests should heal a warlock's lifetapping if a warlock asks nicely and healer mana is not a major concern. Its a lot better for the group as a whole for the lock to keep bolting than for the healer to finish with 10% more mana than otherwise. If healer mana is an issue, then the lock will have to deal. Refusing ot heal lifetaps on principal is a little silly.
I haven't pugged much over the last few levels, but the number of dumb priests out there astounds me. I am a warlock. I travel with a demon. The demon is visable and yet I have to tell people repeatedly:
I do not make water.
I do not rez people.
I may cast the soulstone spell on you, but I will not hand you a soulstone.
I do not heal people.
I enslave demons only.
There are too many idiots out there incapable of distinguishing between cloth wearers.
Why does everyone want to DPS? {WoW}
Apr 23rd 2007 12:55PM I often see a different phenomena in my guild. Attention goes to the tanks. They are showered with authority and respect, while DPS is a dime a dozen. If anything bad should happen to a healer, the question is which dps screwed up and got the beloved healer injured.
Don't think I have ever seen a wipe blamed on the tanking and only rarely on the healers themselves, although poor gear is sometimes mentioned.
