Dec 25th 2010 1:13AM The Incredibles
Apr 26th 2010 12:40PM @Prestidigitator It's called one-way streets.
Apr 26th 2010 12:01PM @ramifications I think the writer did understand, he's just trying to stir things up by being ambiguous. Notice also his use of a very anti-Google quote... WHICH DOESN'T APPEAR IN THE PRESS RELEASE AT ALL.
For shame, Engadget.
Apr 26th 2010 11:55AM @smartmouth No. Google Maps isn't going anywhere. Just the way Maps gets is location data is changing.
Apr 26th 2010 11:45AM Why did you have a quote in the post that wasn't in the actual release? Makes the post a bit misleading, as Google isn't mentioned any where in the press release.
May 19th 2009 3:34PM A cheetah of course.
May 9th 2009 9:51AM I would wear it while I play the game.
May 7th 2009 3:19PM Dinklage is the perfect choice for the role of Tyrion. If the other roles are cast as perfectly as this one, this series will be amazing. For those that want to follow the news of this series more closely, check out this blog: http://winter-is-coming.blogspot.com/ They are doing a great job keeping up-to-date on the project.
And as far as the series being the "greatest fantasy series ever", I think it is too early to decide that. But I don't think you need to have just one anyway, many different fantasy series are great for different reasons.
Also I completely disagree with the notion that Martin's books are derivative. One of the great things about this series is how it shuns a lot of the typical fantasy cliches and is willing to portray a more realistic fantasy world. Should make for some fantastic television.
Apr 23rd 2009 2:58PM "But, like everything in this game, the more you partake in these, the easier they are to excel at, and the less fun they become."
Umm... isn't that the case in like every game EVER?
*This just in from Joystiq, you get better at a game the more you play it. News at 11.*
