Jun 21st 2007 8:18AM OH...I had a person at work tell me they would kill me with their lock no matter what character class I chose, so I spoke with others, someone said my best bet would be hunter or druid. So I rolled a hunter to start.
The first day I played, I accidentally moved autoshot off my cast bar, and had no idea it was autoshot, so i moved the bow icon from my inventory onto my bar (as it looked like the same icon) and it would not let me fire...I went to work the next day, and told them I was quitting, the game sucked. To this they said I had to play a class to at least level 10, and when I got home, oh boy. started my druid, found it easier to move along (as i had not figured out how to shoot arrows on my hunter). enjoyed it for a bit, got new skills at bout level four, and realizedwhat skills were. went back to my hunter, and looked at my skills, and saw autoshot. put it on, enjoyed my hunter, and playe through a bit, becoming a WoW player.
Two weeks later the put out the patch that allowed hunters to right click targets or, tab/t targets to activate autoshot....GRRRR...
May 9th 2007 12:49PM ive got one annoyance...
1. Window key when trying trying to jump...during boss fight...or eveen when soloing or moving with mobs on your tail...waiting for windows to load desktop, waiting for computer to reload WoW image...to late
May 9th 2007 11:45AM pallies FTL, you good for nothing....bless me, give me aura, and then do whatever you feel like, i like the dps you can dish in bursts, as well as the healing you can do, but geeze....valid tanks..i doubt it...you can't rely on mana as a tank...you just dont have the longetivity of a bear or warrior...im sorry, I have a pally, and enjoy playing him, I just dont see it working correctly...
May 7th 2007 2:33PM I must say @ 23, should guild officers not get geared first, if incase the officer being a good officer attending all raids, helping down any boss would have one of the highest DKP's and getting first dibs on items for their class, so why complain, I am an officer of the guild I am in, and aif there is a raid, ill be in it , thus my DKP will be one of the highest, should i see gear I feel I need, then why should I not take it, unless another highly undergeared guildy needs it too, I wouldnt think for a second, bettering one self will in the end improve the group, I work hard for the DKP, but if my gear is close to the loot, and anothers isnt, sure ill pass it up till a later time.
May 7th 2007 11:27AM OK i understand everyones view on this thus far, and not to sure of what people do or how you play, I have come up with what I have conceived is the BEST hunter build thus far. May 7th 2007 10:09AM well..dont usually gank, now in hellfire peninsula, i know we quest the same areas, so stopping them from leveling is kinda of not my thing, im a nice person, but if they come charging at me, then its a different story im not about to wait for them to actually hit me before fighting, that would be a great disadvantage,
and as for ganking lowbies on a PVP server in there trritoy, grab a hunter, go to the lvl 1 NE area, tame a lvl 1 boar, leave its name, put eyes of the beast on walk it around like a puppet, those stupid NE kids, they tab the enemy boars for there first quest, (including said hunters pet who receives mad stam and AP from the hunters stats) now its an ELITE lvl 1 boar, and the hunter and his friend get to rip apart the little NE :) and he will come back res, still be flagged WOOT!!!... or ge 5 hunters, and 5 boars... now you own the area, and they have pretty much no choice :)
May 5th 2007 3:58PM I think you should be able to change the hair, not the rest of the features, you cant change your physical body (well you can but to an extent) but hair color, and style for sure, they should have a barber in each of the major cities to implment this VERY easily into the game.
May 5th 2007 10:12AM circle is a condom for people that make dumb mistakes during any instance, the blue moon is known by many as CC (usually sheep if mage is in group) and red X is sap, but the first and only time i got the condom, was a s a joke but made me mad so i misdirected on the priest and used aimdeshot, arcane shot, multishot on a boss :) that'll teach em
May 1st 2007 4:07PM okay, im going o reply with 2 characters here, my MM huter, and my Balance druid
first my hunter, short and simple, MARKS is the winning table for these guys, plain and simple, right now im outputting 170 DPS (im lvl 60BTW) and my pet is at 82 DPS currenty, before any skills, for information unseenchaos, wildhammer... AotH and aura on.
as for my Balance Druid, im not sure of DPS, and he is only 42, but I dont have exact stats (im not choc full of addons but i have damagemeter cus it rocks) but the other day I did an SM cath run with a group all 41-42, sure its low whatever this is beyond the point....but according to the damage meter, I had done 40.12% of the groups total damage, when the tank got D/Ced and 2 others died, I hopped dire bear, moonkin, and caster forms healing, tanking, and dpsing, (thus i theoretically off-tanked) and was the only class with any possible healing, thus topping off that meter whenever someone needed heals as well. I dont care if everyone says that changes in end game...for now im good, and plan on staying that way + raid casters, who wants to deny a bonus 5% crit...
when i topped that DPS chart...i only had 10% crit for spells (i had just switched from resto to balance and was feral before just to try and find where i fit in) and well...multiple wrath crits = 1sec cast for 400-500 damage each.
