May 11th 2007 8:46AM As a former member of AD (Horde), I can say that if you didn't know any better than reading the realm forums, you would swear it's a PVP server. There is so much e-peen waving and smack-talk, it's absurd.
That, among many other things, made me transfer when the offer came up.
Don't get me wrong, it's fun to watch from the outside looking in; I would much rather deal with polite RP'ers than the "OMG UR TEAM GOT ROLLED IN AB LOL" crowd.
Besides, I have found it's quite fun to RP in /say while someone else is acting juvenile.
"hay dood ur gear sucks imo"
"Excuse me, traveller. But why must you speak so ill of my collection of armor and weapons?"
"This conversation is being ended by me. Good day, sir."
[Dumbass Level 10 Shaman Whispers] lol ur gay rp
/r Enjoy the suspension.
May 9th 2007 6:54AM PW: D was in my old battlegroup while I was on Argent Dawn and they were always a blast to pug with in AB.
Go Power Word: Drunk go!
Apr 26th 2007 9:20AM I spent my first year of play-time with no world drops. Then about a month before BC, a freezing band dropped in WPL while I was grinding AD rep. I sold it to a guildie leveling a mage for a decent price.
About two weeks before the expansion, I saw about 4-5 world drops in groups, one of which I won; it was a Dwarven Hand Cannon in Undead Strat.
Like the rest of my WoW career, epic drops seem to come in bunches for me. You just stick with it.
Apr 25th 2007 10:13AM A warlock, warrior and paladin are all drinking at an inn.
"Did I ever tell you about the time I fought 100 demons?", asked the warrior. The warlock and paladin grumbled and nodded in agreement. "Yeah, I fought all 100, and all 100 died!", the warrior proclaimed.
The warlock raised his glass and said, "Yeah? Well I once fought 200 arakkoa and they all died!"
The paladin chimed in, "Yeah? One time I fought 300 murlocs...and no one died."
