Oct 29th 2011 9:42AM Although they never specifically mentioned healing changes coming in 5.0, they did say that heroics are going to be around Lich King level. They also specifically said in the Dungeons Q&A that the do not like the fact, that healers are getting blamed when someone ignores a mechanic, or stands in the fire.
The impression i got from that was that the fights themselves will be alot easier.
For me cata healing is bad because not only are the mana pools bad, and quick/big heals expensive, but the fights are hard, and there are many instant death mechanics. If they can even eliminate one of those factors, ill be ok with it.
Aug 9th 2011 12:53PM My guess is that Mists of Pandaria will be a Free content patch that comes with 4.3, and it will be released around the same time as the Star Wars game.
Nov 1st 2010 12:58PM Why are the still doing voice Acting?? I thought this game was supposed to be out the door by now.. This is a Bad, Bad sign....
May 3rd 2010 2:09PM I'm happy about this because it will force people to learn how to run a instance. So by the time people get to heroics, they will not only have the gear, but the will know the instance as well. I am all for it. The reason that did not work well in BC was because it took so long to find a pug, Now that it is resolved via LFG, I am all for it.
Jan 20th 2010 9:42AM The funny thing is that even people in the large guilds are using the LFG tool to level their alts. I have a a few friends who are in one of the top raiding guilds on my server, and when they are not raiding they are leveling up their alts via the LFG tool... Even the hardcore people are using it... A lot of times people do not want to deal with vent, or carrying a under-geared friend through a heroic, they just want to get in and get out, and sometimes with being in a guild, that is not possible.
Jan 14th 2010 9:18PM As a healer, its a tough balance. Sometimes you have tanks who just can not hold aggro, and dps who have no idea what aggro management is. The downside to this new LFG is that you never know what you are going to get. For me it usually evens out. Sometimes I get groups where every one can perform their role well, and we can roll through a instance in 15 min.. other times we can not even get through trash in gundrak.
Dec 21st 2009 6:15PM As a Tree Druid and Holy Priest, it really comes down to having a smart tank, not even a great tank, just a smart tank. I do not mind large pulls, or moving quickly, but make sure the healer has mana. Giving me 10 seconds to drink, and making sure i have enough mana will prevent a wipe.. and saves alot more time then running back to your bodies.
Jun 24th 2009 1:53PM I was not complaining about my mana pool or my ability.
I was simply saying that a Hunter who is not fully mana dependent class gets replenshment, while a holy priest who IS a fully Mana dependent class does not...
It was not a cry for help, just a observation...:)
Jun 24th 2009 11:25AM What about the fact that it is unbalanced? Like the fact that Hunters get replenshment, but Holy Priests, or Shamans do not? If you raiding its prob not a issue, but if you are doing 5-mans its kinda unfair.
Jun 15th 2009 5:21PM Totems are meant to deal with a specific situation, if you change the totems to buffs, then they are no different the paladins. What i like about being a shaman is the flexibility. Like if a mob fears i can drop Tremor Totem, if they poison I can do a poison cleansing totem. Totems are what make a Shaman unique.
